The tiger is a thing to fear, just as it was in real life. it should be a bitch to take out, and it now finally is..

While it used to be there just to take a beating while the unfortunate driver tried to hit something with the messed up sights.

A mine didnt usually take out a Tiger, it would damage the roadwheel and/or damage or seperate the track pin and then came the labor intensive project or retracking a Tiger. Usually involved a vehicle and a cable to pull it up.

You mention AT rifles and light tanks not taking out Tigers. Why am I not the least bit surprised.

well unfortunetly there is no real way to model mobilty kills, but even a tiger was vunerable to light cannon fire into its tracks. When it was moving it was very bad becayse a de-track would spin the tank, laying out its open its flanks to more powerfull fire. Even a m-8 could potentially de-track a tiger, which means no mobilty. No mobilty means that if spotted it would be matter of time before spotted and targeted with arty and mortor fire not to mention other tanks. It would also mean potentailly a loss of participation in a advaning front, or getting captured when in retreat.

the AT rifles are funny, nothing better than constant ding-ding on your armor, everywhere on valirisk you see those long barrels sticking through walls :D

Actually, anything will take it out with one shot in the back. AT rifles don't penetrate the tigers armour, so that's useless, even if you shoot 10 times.

:D

I love the new recoshet sounds when you're in the tiger on early war maps. :) And I'm glad that the tiger is finally something to fear again.

I just LOVE the rehauled system, finally the Tiger, and in fact all tanks, are how they should be. It's so beautiful to see them denting my armour contineusly from all sides, with inferior guns. Sometimes I let them fire on purpose just for the joy of it.

The tiger if fine, even on the Valirisk map.... There is only 1 of them and using the appropraite tactics with the T34/76 will enable the allied team to deal with them...Infact the axis don't have that many decent vehicles in that map.... Only the Tiger, the 2 Panzer IV F2 and the Stug 3G can deal with soviet tanks on that map.....the rest of them, the stug B and Panzer IV (short gun one) is pretty much useless on the allied tanks....The allies at least have 4 T34/76, 1-2 KV1, 2 KV2 , Su 76's ...all of which can blast every german tank (except the tiger) to bits.. I have to admit that the tiger is much more leathal in .66 now....but thats becuase they now got the gun site rite.....
