Here, you can name some maps you feel are necessary for FH. I'll start out with some of my choices. Bastogne Outskirts: BoB style, winter forest warfare, infantry vs panzers. Stalingrad Steppes: A fierce battle in the frigid steppes of Russia. Starving, underequipped Germans trying to stop a breakthrough by the Russians. Eastern Front, 1943 - No specific battle, just a Cross of Iron-type setting where the Germans try to hold a network of trenches while the Russians send in constant artillery and masses of troops. Maybe like Berlin Outskirts, but I think different in the fact that it could be created to represent the insanity of the Eastern front at that point. maybe have disabled tigers that act as pillboxes, PPSH kits to reflect the Germans that stole such guns off Russians, and plenty of bunker networks. If anyone has seen Cross of Iron, you know what I'm talking about. Actually, there's very few Eastern Front maps that reflect the hopelessness of the situation at that point. Would be nice to have maps that represent that. Remagen Bridge - The Germans try to hold the bridge to allow 70,000 escaping troops to get out in time. The Americans attempt to capture the bridge at all costs. Budapest: The German Army's Stalingrad. Russians attempt to break through and capture the city and wipe out the German presence. Warsaw Uprising: Germans vs. Poles. In a destroyed city, the Polish Home Army rebels against impossible odds. Monte Cassino (a real version of the map, not the crappy DICE one). Since we have the Poles, why not use them to represent the final push to take Monte Cassino? After all, that is credited to the Poles. Operation Varsity: The Allied push into Germany. Plenty of Panthers, M10s, Pershings would be nice, and paradrop planes. Not like Breakthrough since Operation Varsity took place in 1945. Dunkirk: The British Army holds the outskirts so their comrades can escape via the beaches (yeah, so the French were the main defenders, we need some representation). Norway: Maybe a map set in a fjord, where the Brits have to stop a naval force from invading up a fjord (much like the sinking of the Blucher) Eben Maul: Use Brits as stand-ins for Belgian troops. Germans get k98, mp18, and of course engineers to blow the bunkers. Germans attack using gliders. The Red October Tractor Factory: Germans make a final stand to avoid annihilation in the famous battle for the tractor factory. Red Square: Maybe have the statue of the children dancing in a circle, or of Lenin or Stalin or whoever it is. It could be like Enemy at the Gates, Germans are entrenched on one side and Russians must root them out and retake the square. The Flying Tigers: Like Battle of Britain but with Japanese vs. British p40s (no bombs of course for the p40s) Corregidor: Americans fight the Japanese onslaught on the last island of the Phillipines. A NEW version of Atlantic (Das Boot style). Have Liberty Ship objectives that German U-boats must destroy, with additional destroyer and Swordfish support. that way no battleships to lag the map up. Well that's about all that I can think of. Have a good night.

VE Day: You get to kiss alot of girls and possibly get lucky. You spawn in recently occupied germany. You take a ocean liner to the US, and try to get lucky. Enola Gay: Spawn on a B29 and bomb Hiroshima. Lots of fun...

Hurtgen Forest 1944 - Similar to current stalingrad map but w/o boats. im thinking similar layout to the battle in when trumpets fade, with a choke point at bottom of the hill at busted bridge. 88's at top of hill along w/ nebelwerfers furtherback. and one or two panzer IV's, and Opel blitz's. Americans have howitzers and infantry. Dragons teeth surround american base.

Lol...Monte cassino seems to be attributed to the Poles, the Free French, the Nissei(Japanese-americans), the canadians, and pretty much every foreign unit that fought there claims it took it...

Well, I´d like to see:

-Siege of Bastogne: winter forest map based on BoB. Lots of foxholes and trenches to survive the constant german artillery barrages and their armoured Assault...

-Monte Cassino: An uphill Assault with lots of Artillery on both sides. Allies also get planes, while Germans have to dig into the Monastry.

-D-Day: Still hoping for a decent D-Day Airborne Assault Map, similar to Creta, just based on Normandy. I just love bailing out of a plane flying high over the enemy Flakfire with my team-mates (oh yes, make C-47 mobile Spawns...)

-And of course the meatgrinder of the Wester Front, the Hürtgenwald/Hurten Forrest: A semi-dence forrest, with narrow paths and lots of cover, making it hard for the limited Allied armour to get through. Also plenty of Trenches and Bunkers and loads of Artillery, especially for the Allies. Kind of like Karelia only way bigger...

I would like to see jungle warfare maps with infantry only. Maps that take place in the Pacific inside an island or in Burma. Maps like EOD's Lang Son, Badmoonrising and Closefire. Those maps look great even on the BF1942 engine and don't lag at all, despite the amount of trees.

'[SpartansNurdy']Well, maybe the battle of Savo Island?

Savo Island was the little island (it' s actually in the Vanilla version too, but it' s too small, smaller then a tank) near Guadalcanal it had a lot of costal guns and AA guns and many bunkers.

Leningrad: the north army against the conscript russian in that town (the workers got a training of something like 3 or 6 days and then they fought against the german army)

Battle of Narvik: British troops in Norway try to hold the town against the germans.

Guadalcanal, Philipine and Caen re-done totally, not even based on the old Dice maps.

Kursk Day -1: a map like Battle of Britain with Germans against Russians.

The Dam: a map where you have to destroy a Dam in Norway.

D-Day, Point du Hoc: I know, another D-day map would be a waste of time (same as BoB map) but if they add it in 0.8 they will have a lot of time.

Then I would like to see Bastogne Outskirts, Warsaw Uprising, Monte Cassino, Dunkirk, Eben Maul, Red Square.
