Beast of WarMy wish would be there are servers wich run ALL maps, so navy, airforce and motorised groundforces have a major role too. To me that gives the best result enjoying what is FH. Infantry is only a part of that, not the main action. Afterall this is not a MOHAA, COD or RTCW mod.....

We currently got 31 maps in our rotation, so that ought to give you some you like. Cheers, Mick

OhioanThere's 17 flags, it lags like a biotch, there's countless bugs... it's not a very good map.

That ought to be a typo! There are only seven flags and you only have to hold four in order to start ticket bleeding. Cheers, Mick

There are countless threads about whats in and whats not in 0.61, this includes maps as well, oh and plus when you start the game you get a list of the maps, you asked the question - "and how the fuck should he be able to make reserch whne the site wasnt updated since FH switched from BFC forums ????" so I gave the answer.

Anyway I cant be bothered getting into an arguement, so no I wont 'stfu'.

@ Run for Da gun: Caen is in 0.61, although you cant see the bridge (bug) and Anzio hasnt been made for FH, only way you can get that is by Buying Road to Rome (dont!) but im sure in one future release when they include the Italians they'll make an Anzio map ;)

Orel is one of the most played maps or I am just unlucky, it' s good don' t get me wrong, but everytime I join a server (I usually join a server when a) it has a free slots or it' s not empty b) there' s someone I know c) it' s not japanese) and I don' t look at the map, I always find Orel in the first round!! My favourite maps are Arnhem, Crete and yes, I like Pavlov!

How can he get the answer from starting the game and looking at a list of maps? jesus...its not that hard, pretty self explanatory.

Oh and he asked why those maps arent in rotation, not why they werent in 0.61.

Beast of WarI do not agree.......it is a good map, and the spread out fighting is a welcome change to small maps with 3 flags, resembeling a bunnyhopper/fragger Unreal Tournament level.

The only thing i do not understand is what aircraft are doing in that map, since the fog and dense objects like trees and buildings pretty much make air operations inpossible and bombing real hard. Only the Stuka is able to kill tanks in and around the Soviet base, but other then that it is ineffective. Russian fighters cannot find the Stuka in the dense fog, and what you cannot see/find, you cannot fight. Bombing is already ineffective, strafing you can plain forget. Even if it were FH 0.5 aircraft.

In some servers it is forbidden to strike above/near enemy bases, so the Stuka is totally useless then too.

Tanks do not belong in cities and forrests.......that is pretty obvious and is felt well in game i think. Yet having a choice wether or not to use tanks is more logical then having aircraft in Orel.....when weather conditions were like in Orel map, IRL airforces did not fly.......and calculating the risk to be killed against the damage you can do in FH with weather like that, it is very obvious why they did not fly.

I completely agree with you on the aircraft. They are pointless on that map. The "spread out fighting" however leads to Makin/Saipan-esque flag changing. You cap one flag, but some jeeping escape artist caps another on the other side of the map, and you keep going back and forth with no side able to hold the flags that they cap because there's just too many. Removing the city area on the left would not only reduce lag, it would make the action a little more centered on the very nice city area, which despite the double-machine-gun-spawns-in-the-same-window-bug is a great landscape. It's like Adak, it's simply too spread out.
