Okay, I saw a few of the YouTubed clips of FH2. I know it's still a WIP but I'm wondering, aren't the tanks a bit too fast and don't their turrets turn a bit too quickly? The size versus humans is fine, but I think tanks for one, are bit too twitchy - Even more than in FH1 it seems. I'm not sure about the handling of other vehicles, but if it's something to go by, could vehicle movement, armour and key-sensitivity (or mouse sensititvity) be as close to life as fun would allow?

Keep in mind that tanks engaged targets at 500 meters. In FH its probably 200 or so. Its all done for gameplay reasons, really. :)

Well if there weren't any treats like videos to watch, we all would have thought the Devs had vanished off the face of the earth or worse gone off and played .......counterstrike. :p

LoL On a more serious note, I have absolute faith in the FH devs to ballance the game, and have things make sense.. What exactly are the devs going to do to ballance armor and make the game realistic? Restricting views? etc.

If i recall a dev reply correctly, tanks will be "clunkier", and i think it's fair to asume they will be slower than is shown in the video's.

Omg, I just logged in to ask a similar question. When ever i play I'm always an infantry on foot and I'm very worried since the first maps will have alot of desserts and not have to many trees or cities for infantry to hide which will make it very fustrating for us who don't camp around for tanks or planes all the time. In RO on foot infantry have a real good chance getting around and avoiding a tank. The tanks are much slower, especially with the turret, but still very powerful. By having slower turrets, the tanks will need infantry assistance to protect them, just like the way it use to be in WW2. This will require more team work instead of having peeps camp for tanks to spawn just to go on a rampage and get as many kills to raise thier score.

RO does a very good job when it comes to tanks. Most of the time a tank that is traveling alone is dead pretty quick. To see tanks move with infantry support would be a sight for sore eyes. BTW me and lobo are viewing this thread at the same time...that makes me feel special.

I recall a dev, McGibs I think, said tanks were powerful considering lack of an effective anti tank armaments around at the time in the 1940. So infantry versus tanks might be a no contest.

Hopefully it might make players abit more strategic in their approach to the game. Thank god its not BF2 with all the noob tubes floating around.:kerian:
