Here is a rough draft of this song I'm making called "wartorn". The balancing of instruments is a little off and at about 53 seconds the song suddenly changes pace. It kind of sounds like the "lost battle" music in bf1942.
Goto www.purevolume.com/vagabond and play the song "wartorn". And if you'd care to, listen to my other songs.
Thank you.
:)
P.S-You might want to turn up the volume for wartorn and after you are done listening, turn it back down. My other songs are balanced correctly.
sounds good
I like it, sounds a bit like the Saving private ryan soundtrack (well, a part of it).
(Though the transition at 0:52 seems a bit sudden. *edit* Oh you put that in your original post too, didn't notice :p)
hm i like it. It also reminds me of saving private ryan... Sneaking in the haunted castle is also really cool :p
Thanks for the responses! I am actually majoring in Music Tech (which is similar to composition) and wanted to see if my music making is on the right path. Someday...I hope to be writing for movies, video games, and the like. :cya:
One last bump! :)
IMO, WW2 music needs a sad solo trumpet... Nice song "jeffbrak" ;) Edit: Do you by anychance play final fantasy? To me that is the climax of game music, simply nothing better, especially when they use the live orchestra stuff...
Needs less piano and more horn and such to be an effective "war" piece in my opinion. Other than that, it was very good. You did effectivly capture a remorseful sense in the music.
Oh im a fanatic collector of military themed music and all kinds of musics from 40's and i gotta listen to this. Oh i liked it. It was very smooth and relaxing to listen. I think i add that to my collection. ;)
nice, but it just struck me that this is very off topic, how could lightning miss this??
