Come here to tell the tale of your finest hour. Thought this would be a cool idea for a thread. Mine is as follows: I was playing Breakthrough earlier on the 130th server, and I finally found myself at the helm of the Konigstiger. I started to move up to the bridge to ambush British tanks as they crossed. In a period of 6 minutes I destroied two Fireflys, one Churchill, and 4 Cromwells. At this time an amazing thing happened, the single greatest even in the history of videogame teamwork. I asked if anyone could help defend me from flanking tanks, and guess what, a Panzer 4 rolled up and volunteered. Then, shock of all shocks, someone in an Ostwind said he would keep the Typhoons at bay! But what I really loved is when 3 engineers jumped on the tanks, 2 on mine, one on the P4, and said they would kill infantry and repair us. This really got my spirits up after seeing a number of our tanks being blown up by expacks and Typhoons. We moved out, with, of course, my KT in the lead, followed by the Ostwind, followed by the P4. We rolled up to the windmill where one of the engineers capped the flag. A few seconds later, British armor comes up to take it back. I killed 2 Churchills and 3 Cromwells, and one damaged Firefly, while my P4 partner killed another Firefly and 2 more Cromwells. After capturing that flag, the column rolled up to the farmhouse near the river. There we made our stand. The Panzer 4 took up a position so that it had hull defilade (where only the turret can been seen), the Ostwind stayed near the farmhouse, I hid half of my hull behind the house, and the engineers took up positions in the farm and house. There there I killed around 24 tanks, no shit, and the P4 got 17. The Ostwind shot down one Spitfire and 3 Typhoons, not to mention 3 GPs. Over the course of the next few minutes, the rest of the armor started to roll up, and a Tiger joined us. He was, unfortunatly, promptly killed by a ass with a suicide GP in the rear. (He was kicked). Then the tide started to turn... Two Firefly Shermans outflanked the Panzer 4 and knocked him out. The guy in the Ostwind was killed by a Stug4G that had been stolen from the driver. My life truly was in danger then. I could be easily outflanked from the left by a Firefly and killed if I was not careful, or I could be killed by a Typhoon now that my Ostwind support was gone. My situation got very desperate, a Firefly did indeed outflank me while I was firing at a group of Cromwells, and took down about half of my armor. The surviving engineer ran out of the farm and tried to repair me as fast as he could, but a Churchill noob started firing his MGs at me before I even saw him, so my last support was killed. I quickly asked for support when one of the 130th guys in the PantherD rolled over the hill to my left and we linked up. From there he covered me as I put the tank into reverse and backed over the bridge. During the corse of this action, this brave tanker killed 3 Cromwells and a Churchill, and was eventually overwhelmed by a wave of British armor coming from the west. Whoever you are, thank you, you truly saved my ass that day! I then got my tank repaired and moved back accross the river via the shallow water and hooked up with an engie, who then got in the hull gunner position. I moved down farm field, killing 2 Cromwells as we moved. This is where my luck ran out... The British had some amazing teamwork going on by this point. Two Typhoons were flying cover for the Fireflys and Cromwells that were advancing along the road. Here I killed one Firefly and 2 Cromwells, the other tanks pulled back into the village and called for air support. Within twenty seconds a Typhoon and found me and had ended. This whole course of events took around one and a half hours, and I must say that teamwork in FH is alive, but only if you are as lucky as I. Now, you guys post your stories, we'd be more than happy to hear them!
ah thats a fine story, i havent much tales of teamplay and valor, o wait i got a tale too...
we were on crete, and about 4 of us got in the Junkers. we talked stratagy and decided wede secure a jeep after the first cap. we cap it unnoposed and got the jeep, me driving. we then drove to several other flags but had light resistance. the MG killed atleast 2 the first go and we cleared the rest out with MP40s. now as i would expect, they would run off out to knowhere and get killed. but to my suprise, they got back in the jeep! then came our first casualty. we fell for a roadside bomb on our way to the harbor. apparently someone saw us and warned the brits beforehand. luckily the expack didnt blow the jeep up but rolled it offroad with it still being drivable but with billowing smoke. we bailed and 3 of us took cover in a crater. sadly, the 4th one didnt make it and was brutily mowed down by a bren. we threw the last of our grenades and killed them all. the jeep was in shambles, one of the men was badly wounded, the other had low ammo, and i was left with a pistol (we survived THAT long) we decided to go back to the airfield to rearm, heal up, and replace our junked jeep. we were on our way when suddenly, we recieved a call that about 10 brits with SMGs were overruning the airfield, so we decided it would be best if to go and try to cap a smaller flag, such as the AA flag. we arrive, but to our dismay, we were all KIA'd by a rifle grenade by a soldier on guard there.
we then lost track of each other, i was in the stuka, i remember the wounded guy then was in a stolen tank, and the other guy went rambo. that was the best day of teamwork ive played
Damn thats a good story, makes me want to play fh right now. Too bad I just unistalled it :(
Thats not BS either, that just happened about 2 hours ago.
i remember mine like it was yesterday. i even remembered how i found out he was wounded, he kept sayin "medic!" and had 10% above his head. i guess you can call us the cavalry cause were were movin around so much
Ok well, my best game/teamwork ever was on alpenfestung about two months ago. It was on Ninjaserve, and i had just joined as the round started. I was on allies, and at first the round went about as expected. Most of our players were either waiting for planes, or getting slaughtered in armor. There was almost no teamwork at all. Then about halfway through the round, we still had not capped one flag. Somehow, we finally started to work as a team. We were severely loosing by this time though, axis had about 400 tickets to our 100. Our armor started to coordinate with out bombers, bombers flying in first taking out at guns and the panthers. Then the armor rolled in for an easy flag cap. I was flying and had tankers and scouts calling in the position of german armor, making them easy pickings. I was also amazed to see no plane campers at all, they had all got in something and helped cap flags. This continued until we had capped all of the flags exept fot the german base. However, the germans had started to work together at this point as well. They had a column of armor approaching the church (kt, 2 panther, and a stug). One of our tankers called it in, and a b-25 passed over, taking out the stug and a panther. Then I took out the remaining tanks. It seemed like the germans could not get a kill. The tickets were now about axis: 100 (and running) allied: 20. After about five minutes of this, the tickets were getting very low, and both teams in position to win. Axis: 25, Allies:5. This is when it got really intence, and to my amazement nobody did anything stupid like crashing or running into the axis base. We formed a front and quickly got the tickets to 1:1, and then we made out come from behind victory with a total score of 1-0  .
holy sweet jebas, thats a good one.
One of the coolest things I've done, was I was driving along in a half track, when out of the corner of my eye I saw a man with a panzerschreck. I jumped out of the half track, and as soon as i got out the enemy fired, the half track blew up, and the blast made me go flying...but while i was in mid air i aimed my crosshair up, and got a head shot on the guy, then i turned around and landed on sand bags...and survived. The cool thing was it was only in a split second...it wasn't one of those blasts where you fly straight up, i flew to the side, and was only in the air for a split second. (when i took the shot :)) I know it wouldnt happen in real life, i just thought it was damn cool :)

Once I was chuting on Orel...I fired towards the ground with a rifle......and killed a teammate... O_o that was the weirdest hit I ever had.
He was in the church tower, by the way....
