Man, definately 1 or 2 charges if they are going to be that big. I mean, having 3 or 4 is a bit ridiculous when you consider that the engineer is carrying 4 mines also along with 1 or 2 satchels that are about as big as his backpack alone. Geez guys...

Also, imagine the ammo truck on Wake Island for that one! Someone climbs into the back on the ammo truck and someone drives making a nice drive by sequence of exploisions and flying Japanese infantry, woot!

BAMoffcorse right now there is that "HUH!" sounds that the took from SPR when you throw it they could put a Fire in the hole sound after it and it would alos bee good if the put a "Ping!" sound when you pull the pin on the greande ..

The thing is......shouting ( contrary to radio commands ) can be heard by the enemy aswell......

If you are shouting "fire in the hole" automaticly it not only warns too close friendlies, but close enemies ( that the handgrenade is meant for ) aswell. Coding an automatic shout warning could make handgrenades a lot more inefficient.

I also wonder what sound the satchel charge will make hitting a tank. Right now you can't hear a diffrence between a handgrenade or an expack wich have very diffrent consequences to the health of the tank and yourself. This is ofcourse abused for trickery but is it realistic ? A handgrenade is a metal object, an expack is not, and will sound diffrent when hitting metal.

I'd say a random 50/50 chance of getting 1 or 2 would be good..

I'd like to see "Finnish satchels". You know, with a grenade stick and a simple box. Detonator being at the end of the stick, like in potatosmasher grenades. If FH team would model one, I'd be most appreciated. Even while not being a modeler, I'd say it would not be a huge job, as the model and animations could probably be partly imported from the potatosmasher grenade, only requiring the simple box and a little different detonator to be modeled, plus of course the ingame coding, if it could not be imported from the other satchel charge.

But people get TKed by grenades without this warning, you can't throw a damn nade and warn at the same time especialyl in Charlie Sector.

Yes, usually if you start messing around with the menus when you need to throw a grenade, you get a grenade in YOUR head before you manage to both say "fire in the hole" and throw the grenade.

Yep, automatic "Fire in the hole!" command while throwing a grenade/satchel would be extremely useful.
