My favorite is not on the list. Operation Nordwind is awesome. It is such a visually beautiful map and it is also well layed out. Those who prefer fighting with tanks have plenty to do and those of us who primarily like to fight on foot have the wooded areas to "play" in(as well as that town at the northwestern most point with the two spawns). Out of the ones on your list, I would have to go with Omaha Charlie sector which is very probably my second favorite map.

BTW, get Nordwind on your poll! Bump "Weiss"or "Bombing the Reich" to get it on. It might very well win the poll if it were up there; several other people also mentioned it in their replies.

Definately Sector 318 - 1944. Great atmosphire, amazing graphics and it's got all the gear I love like the Mustang, Sherman Jumbo and M36.

In second place, it's a close one between Gold Beach - 1944 or Tarawa 1943. These two maps scream quality. So much to do, and I love beach landings. Appart from Omaha, thats just daft. Raise you head - get shot, repeat 100 times etc.

Thirdly, Liberation of Caen. Why? because if it's played right there's some great games to be played here. It has everything - paratroop drops, tanks, hidden AT guns, great rifle firefights between woods and buildings, plus it has that cool Pegasus Bridge. I love it.

I really like Goodwood and Nordwind, although they do have a tendency to turn into spawn-rape heaven.

I don't have a favorite map per se. I like ones like Prokhorovka, Breakthrough, and Supercharge. But I also like maps like The Storm or others where infantry do come into play more.

I can tell you my most HATED map, though -- Zielona Gora. Dumbest...map...EVAR. ;)

It would be easier to say what I don't like since most of them I do. I voted Midway because its got a little bit of everything. If the Islands were bigger with a couple of tanks, look out. Kinda like the Inv of the Phillipines with ships & sub & planes. I like all the Japanese maps including DICE Iwo Jima & Guadacanal. Kinda miss them... The new maps Falise Pocket, Goodwood and Nordwind are all good - they seem to play the same (which isn't bad). Crete and Adak for uniqueness. Agree about BOtB - good map. Don't like: Zielona Gore Karelia FH Wake Bombing the Reich

I love Crete as the Germans because to me, it feels really diverse from any other type of game. All the troops bundle inside the plane, to paratroop on the British (base?) and to me, it feels like a real war

I am still deeply in love with Fall Weiss! It is so beautiful i am about to frame some prints and put on my wall! I like best to play Polish and try to fend of the german advance at one of the bridges. And when the PanzerII arrives the feeling of "we don't have any AT"!
