I was just wondering if it's possible that FH will one day have half-tracks that are able to deploy anti-tank guns (88/pak/6pounder/etc...) instead of the MGs... Those anti-tank guns are suppose to surprise enemy tanks and yet, most players in FH already know where most of these things are making them usually ineffective (depending on the situation) So yeah, will FH one day have deployable anti-tank guns? (of course, this would go only to certain maps...Maps like Goodwood would be a nice place though :) ) Thanks..
I don't know much about these weapons, but aren't they a little bit big to hide inside an APC?
I thought I had heard something about BF1918 having pushable artillery...that true? if so I don't see why someone couldn't take a look at how they did it. I agree though, more field guns would be just fine.
Yeah, making the artillery guns puchable would be a good alternative. There are a few mods that I know of that already have this, and it would work great in fh.

Yeah, but the enemy isin't suppose to know where all the anti-tank guns are placed :uhm: Make Satchels less "useful" and add more anti-tank guns that can be hidden by user = More realism :naughty:
Good idea, its the problem with many defensive structures, pilots know exacly where the AA is, tankers know exacly where the AT guns are. They either avoid it or send a shell to kill it even before they have a LOS (line of sight) to it. Wich makes them pretty much useless to anything but noobs or overconfident pilots/tankers.
There is the option of taking mobile AA/AT into the field, but these things often cant even take MG fire.

Well, the AT guns on Arnhem are VERY effective, especially the one right next to the bridge. Everyone knows it's there, but they can't do anything about it. You blow up one tank with it, you create a traffic jam for the rest of the tanks in an all out PIAT shooting spree. The only thing Germans can do is either send a rambo jeep out, hoping it'll move too fast for the AT gunner's reflexes, or risk sending heavy tanks up forth to square off with the AT gun. Then again, I guess they're only effective on close quarters maps, where the enemy has no choice but to go through the line of fire.........
BG42 does this very well. Drive a truck with your field gun hitched to the back, deploy it, hop out, get in the gun and push it to where you want it, ambush armor, hook field gun back up to the truck, drive off. It'd be great to see FH implement towable artillery like BG42.
there is already a deployable 88, but its not very common...

I'm pretty sure it's not possible to reattach it.
