EA recently had a mod day to show Battlefield modding teams the tools that will be available for BF2. These were the teams in attendance.

Verge of Armageddon Battlefield Apocalypse Eve of Destruction Rising Conflicts Experience WW2 Galactic Conquest Battlefield Pirates Point of Existence Russian Assault "These guys are literally the CORE of the MODDING community. They live, eat and breath all things Battlefield and jumped at the opportunity to visit the Electronic Arts (EA) headquarters in Redwood City, California"

What's missing....maybe the second most popular mod for Bf1942, Forgotten Hope. Stupid EA. http://www.eagames.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/editorial.jsp?src=mod_day_01

Was the FH team invited or they just forgot to ask them? Sometimes I hate EA :(

Probably has something to do with the 18+ hour flight most of the devs would face to get there

Yeah most of the FH team is in Europe... EA games hasn't moved overseas yet.

I thought it was rather stupud too but than I remembered that FH hasn't officialy decided it was going to port to bf2 so maybe that's why they were not invited? It could have been a good way to convert the devs though.

look at all the mods, all are different conflicts and others. Xww2 is the world war 2 mod represented, maybe EA liked em more because of its more uniqueness with all the realism in all. They probably think that a mod as big as FH can do it all by themselves.

I bet it was just a schedule/transportation conflict. And I thought that FH was for sure moving to BF2? At least that's what I read on the boards somewhere.. it was from a reliable source.
