... it has no use- its simply to inaccturate for example on supercharge, you cant even hit a tank moving by you in 200 meters without luck, but the 88 DESTROYS tanks on 2000 meters. i know FH is all scaled down, but the 88 is just FAR too inaccurate. even a bofors or a vierling is more accurate, so please change that, and make it as exact as the tiger!

I agree. The 88's accuracy is to low, for a high velocity anti tank for the arc is too high as well. It should be something like the tigers gun. The damage is does it spot on as far as AT is concerned. A side rant, i think the 88's AA capability is too poor. Im aware it was used in battaries to make flak killboxes, but this is impossible in FH, so why does it have an AA round that has to hit the target directly in order to damage? Could you PLEASE give it a proximity effect with a large splash? Realism put aside, on maps like Pro..something. The tank map, the IL2's and Yaks can roam as they wish as the 88 is too inaccurate/weak and the flak38 needs 3 hits to kill. Besides for raping infantry the AA round isnt very usefull.
yea if you shoot with a 88 in the air (aa rounds) it should explode?? that wil give you a glim about how acurate you shot 2. the 88 was origanly a AA-gun, so wy do we only use it for AT?? i only shot 1 plane down with it this year, and that was a slow swordfish in desert rose. so make it a more eficent weapon
i've shot down more planes in a panther during one round (mostly spitfires and hurricanes) than accumulated with the flak18/36 since way back into last year (probably more than ever).
I would say you shoot the enemy with it ;) But honestly, it is not bad, once you learn to aim with it. Low flying aircraft are not supposed to be easy targets for the 88s, on the other hand high flying aircraft are not too hard to shoot down...I got a Stuka with it in Seelow heights, when I was situated in the middle of the town. Against tanks, it is not bad. But could be better.
atleast it's invisible from beyond 300m or so
i think the 88 is fine, as far as AA goes. i think all the aa (in game)are to accurate and way to easy to shoot down planes, especially the bofors. however as a AT weapon its range and accuaracy, does need to be increased a bit..
I think saying the AA in the game is way too accurate must be a bit of a joke. After playing BF & sebsequently FH for a total of almost 2 yrs I still suck at AA unless it's a flak vierling, the AA batteries on Japanese Aircraft carriers or the Yamoto or a Bofors battery. If it's a single Bofors, Flak 38 or 88 I can't seem to hit the broad side of a barn unless they are low flying or flying directly at me or away from me. I wouldn't say they are too accurate. Having the 88's do splash damage would be a welcome addition.
I agree, I think I've yet to hit an aircraft with the 88-and I'm a pretty good AA gunner.
The Brit two-pounder on the Crete map is a fabulous gun.
i took more planes with sdkfz222 than with any other AA together - this little car is an uber-plane-masacrator - fast, good handling, armed and dangerous
i find easier to take out il-2's with pak40 than with '88 on The Storm.. so i never man '88 - it is easier to snipe out skid driver than to hit it with '88
