Damn, you're right. Shermans, Priest and M10 look like crap at this time. I can't wait for them to throw those to the bin!!!!
I'd more prefer the tanks to be sized properly...or at least shrink the infantry models down.
It's the statics that are the thief in the "wrong size"-drama. The statics are too big. I've explained in another of oddball's threads why you can't resize the statics.

When are all HE based vehicle munitions get (proper) splash damage ?
Infantry in FH should feel they are made of weak virtual flesh and blood......
Lets talk about a typical HE fragmentation grenade around 75 mm - 105 mm, regardless what type launcher or cannon. When that grenade impacts the ground, 15 m - 20 m around it all human beings are instantly killed by the pressure of the explosion itself......up to 30 m - 40 m all human beings will be heavily wounded by the fragmentation blasted out of the exploding grenade, they will no longer be able to fight on. Beyond 30 - 40 m human beings may suffer anything from heavy wounds to light wounds by flying debris and fragmentation, or no wounds, and not uncommon physical shock by the tremendous loud explosion, the flash and tremendous pressure on their body, and the sight of comrades being dismembered, maimed and torn to pieces. The horrific death cries of the dying and soldiers drowning in their own blood maybe sound funny to us in games, for real it can drive a soldier insane and wreck his will to fight.
Ofcourse, heavier grenades with a larger HE content cause even more blast area effect and larger damage. Modern 900 kg aircraftbombs cut down soft targets in level terrain up to 300 m - 500 m......that is half a kilometer......these are used to detonate minefields, but clearly they have other purposes aswell. We ofcourse all know, even heavier conventional bombs exist today, but that was to illustrate what a 1000 kg bomb should do.
It is clear the devs are trying to protect the infantry players from realistic vehicle damage. It is still a game, i don't want realistic damage because that would make playing infantry no fun at all....they would be slaugtered and it would be soon a vehicle only game.
But damage from HE weapons as it is now is rediculous low, you practiacally have to fire a HE round at infantry feet to kill them. If artillery rounds fall near to infantry nothing happens. That has got to be changed.
Priest and wespe just suck...
agreed, i wouldnt actually mind all that much if real arty had the proper lethality, might make people a little more scared to get near me when im shelling a spawn point on BoB
