BF2's POV is from the tippy tip top of the head. If you're countersniping, and you see the tiniest, flattest bump of a sniper's head appear over a wall he can see you. So even if his eyes aren't there he can see you which is kind of annoying, but I'd rather have it there than in the chest like BF42.
Or in his eye sockets where it should be
seriously, whats stopping them
They're EA, they gotta make things difficult. That's what publishers do...
Consumer satisfaction:rolleyes:, what a myth.
EA has come to the realization that no matter how shitty their games are, we still buy them. Case in point: BF2. I think everyone on this forum here, myself included, bought BF2 to play mods. Well, that just means that EA can make a shitty game, because they know people will buy it PURELY to play the mods.
Well, I see why we have the camera at upper chest hight. Its so the weapon is in the right spot in comparison with the first person view. If they put it at the eye sockets, then you will hardly be able to see the gun, and it will look all discombobulated. The view for Bf2 is already wierded out and not in comarison. I guess you can intentionally put it in the eye sockets/mouth and make in in no comparison ONLY if you disable 3rd person views on infantry (although they were pretty fun, but called for "seeing through walls" so if you want to keep it, make the camera closer to the person).
Yeah, those cameraproblems are a bit lame. If you lay down, your camera is located somewhere near your lower stomach, and your body is sticking out, (i.e. when you're lying in a mortarhole.) and pulling the enemies rifle barrels right at you like a frigging magnet. In that situation you see yourself that you are in cover, but the truth is that your body is sticking out of the damn hole like a bloody target silhouette and boom, you're dead. :uhoh:
