Lobo;3664742Or uninstall the mod

Their loss, not yours. People who recognised quality would stay. But you're right, to get more players the late war was necessary.

Personally I will never regret our mutiny, variety is salt of life, and WW2 is too wide to castrate the mod doing just early part

The same could be said about the late part. I have no problem with fighting in the late war, I just wish FH had at least done more work on the early war than it eventually did.

My post appears to have jumped to the top of the thread. Here it is in its proper (?) place.

Well the question is self explanatory - Although late in the age. But I've always wondered: What was the motivd behind the name?

I think the best names always have a multiple of meanings. It's not coinicence, although it may very well not be some dark plot to hide messages in titles - I learnt a wee bit about something in psycho-analysis called parapractice i.e. acting upon something in your mind but being aware that that is the reason why you acted (A subconscious resolve, if you will) - So personally, I believe the naem FORGOTTEN HOPE carries all those meaning and more.

"This mod takes place in the time around 1940 and 1941, when the power of the Wehrmacht was reaching its peak."

Admiral Donutz;3664593ArminAce was the mods leader when they started...
pvt. Allen;3664604No, he's not the original mod leader either, poor historian you are Rob, however so am I when it comes to the history of FH, so I won't tell you either.:p
i always thought the name was chosen, because bf42 had so much potential, but after the demo was released, armin and co quickly saw that it was too arcadish and lots of content was missing. so the name fits perfect for a mod, that in first line wanted to use the great potential of the game. well that was my belief all the time ...

guys, you really lack some historical knowledge.. ;)

the mod started not with arminace as leader but with senor dingdong. the name fh was derived from the desperate allied stand in late 1940/41, the proposed time focus of the mod.
