Hello, Why was the pistol removed from the Rifleman class? Although I miss it, I can understand it being removed from the Engineer class as the Engineer is one of the more useful classes. But I don't understand why it was felt that the Rifleman class needed to be nerfed. Please don't tell me it's because he gets gaynades? C'mon guys! I feel this is a travesty. because many riflemans didnt carry pistols. But for some reason the officers dont have them too. What about all the heroic stories of leaders urging the troops on with his .45 in hand? AND THE SNIPER STILL HAS NO PISTOL!!!!:mad:

your'e probly thinking of CQB soldiers, which just have knife/smg/nades

I still say it should have been random whether or not they had pistols, perhaps 15%?

Funny, with pistols removed the assault class is even less popular. Good luck finding anyone using that kit most now. Realistic.. yeah, having 25 dudes with rpg's on kursk, thats not improved gameplay or realism. The class itself is more realistic, but that all thats improved. Personally i think its a shame they took the pistol away, i guess its more realistic. The downside is that even less people will choose the class, the pistol can be a lifesaver, especially close up. The message is: Pick a class with an smg or die ALOT

I have to agree with Campin' Carl, seems to me that the Sniper should have a pistol too. I have run up on a Sniper and been sniped at point blank range. And I was in disbelief at what was obviously an incredible shot! But I think that is probably 1 in 200 occurence. Seems like the Sniper should have something besides just a knife for Close Quarters, and that something should be a pistol. Regards, One Tin Soldier

The after nerfing the rifle we now how to put up with having no pistol madx.gif. If you had to remove something, for all means take the gaynades but not the pistol. It's not really an improvement for realism when players can sustain a rifle shot to the body at close range then mow you down by shooting their LMG from the hip roll%20eyes%20%28sarcastic%29.gif Gameplay isn't affected as you didn't get that far using spray 'n' pray with a tiny pistol clip anyways, unlike those now ubiquitous SMGs and LMGs. I wouldn't be supprised if I found the cattle in FH world were packing full-auto bullet spammage devices...

I think the sniper should get crosshairs while not zoomed in (seems the realistic thing to do since the assault class has it too.) or a pistol. It shouldnt take more then 5 minutes to change, it would shut us sniper whores up for good.. if you add MORE AMMO as well :) I see no valid reason why not, snipers are rare, not somehing that can get whored. Unlike alot of other guns :roll:

I like that the pistol is gone. Realism is far better than suiting some players playing style.
