i mean when the mod is completely finished (2100j/k) will we be seeing more 'uncommon' as the devs like to call it, weapons being put in?

like: guided aa, and air to ground missiles, maus, mini subs, landmine dogs _> rusn) etc.?

i dunno it would just be fun to play with some of these 'prototype' weapons.

Doubt it...but perhaps in 2100 it can happen...or if the devs have spare time.

there will be , i think, but i think please don't add maus,

because 1. they are still in their factory 2. too heacy to move, it's no difference than a stationary object 3. it's ugly 4. as it could barely move, i prefer a concrete bunker with a defgun in it

I think the devs should just focus on FH2 first before doing things like secret weapons, but fortunately the Forgotten Hope community is blessed with many great modelers, skinners and coders as well so it's always possible someone else will do it.

You might very well think that

Maybe one day. The mod realistically will not have all the real theatres and weapons in it inside of this decade (no joke, I expect FH2, if still in development, to be 'finished' like FH1 is by around 2012, perhaps), so it's far, far too early to discuss this.

I estimate that if the Devs are still driven to create when FH2 is complete, we'll begin hearing about FH3 on some "game engine of the future". I think once we get to that point, FH2 will become the same way FH1 is now. It'll be a lot of fun to play, but only to tie us over to FH3.

I think it will be done but not by the devs.It will probably be done by someone else and will be like an addon.

Hell Ranger;3505857Whats so secret about molotov cocktails?

You seen the price of petrol lately? They might as well be secret weapons, the cost of modding them in would be extreme. Why do you think it's taken them so long to get all the tanks and planes in? They have to negotiate with the Oil companies about getting discounts so that fools like us can drive our tanks of cliffs. God, imagine the fuel cost of a Maus (P.S, I think another 'Alpenfestung' like map is a fan-must have. Whether made by devs or not, it'll show up in one way or another.)

(Adjective Here) Chicken;3505730I estimate that if the Devs are still driven to create when FH2 is complete, we'll begin hearing about FH3 on some "game engine of the future"....

I can see FH3 as a "Wii"-style format, but far more advanced. We put on the movement-sensor harness, the olfactory probe, the control glove and the virtual reality hood-style helmet with the retina-reflective display that puts us in a true 360-degree environment. Then we're ready to run and jump our way across a self-contained universe, one in which we are inside FH. Where there is nothing but the map, and we can even smell the battlefield. FH3 will finally solve the problem of bunny-hopping, since no one can actually jump and down for more than few seconds at a time. At first the big maps with a lot of infantry movement will not be very popular with the couch potatoes and smokers. They will favor the armor and airplane maps which are much easier on the legs and lungs.
