OK I'll admit the BFV version has way more polys as you can see in the comparison shots........but why do the BFV versions have duller textures???

Because BF:V is crap. It's been said.

Honestly, people got tired of Wake and Iwo Jima last year, I think this is just a DICE excuse to trick people into thinking there's new content, by using recycled stuff from their more succesful game.

They don't mention that most people have to turn all the undergrowth off to play at a reasonable framerate either. Its going to look worse then the original bf1942.

Stop being so optimistic Ohioan!

Seriously, undergrowth is not something you can turn off in BFV. Unless they changed that in the "mini-patch".

I could care less about what dice canada is doing. More bushes to hide in, the japanese still use german weapons, blah. Basically the same game as bf1942.

I really enjoy playing Battlefield: Vietnam, and I think this will be great. I think that DICE Canada did a better job with the weapons than DICE Sweden. When I got Battlefield: 1942 I was like where the hell is the Garand? Why are the Germans using the STG44 in 1941 and 1942? What the hell the Japanese and Russians don't have their own weapons! The British only have one of their own guns! What is with the bolt action rifles. (Remember in 1.0 they fired so slow, but it was fixed in the next patch.) At least the Secret Weapons pack gave the British most of their weapons, but I would rather have a normal Sten over a silenced Sten.

I think that weapon wise DICE Canada did a better job than DICE Sweden. I just hope that DICE Sweden can change this with Battlefield 2.
