Toppisnt there a map that really looks like that. with fences and barracks and sawing mills

Not sure, but whoever suggested it wanted it to be prisoners vs. guards. I don't know about you, but playing as a prisoner and sneaking up on a guard so I can deliver a killing blow with a chair leg, only to have him turn around and fill me with lead doesn't exactly sound too fun.

I know this will piss some folks off:

Having seperate driver and gunner positions for tanks is one of the worst ideas ever.

I know some of you seem to think this would be the end all be all for FH tanks, but I'm here to tell you it would totally ruin the game. In the perfect world, yes, it would be good with ingame coms, etc. But as it is now, it would NEVER work right.

I've heard that it may be a feature in BF2, with a full comm system. If so, that would probably work, but even then it would be difficult to get everything coordinated on a public server.

Uh...to get back to the M-16 thing for a second...are you guys sure they meant the M-16 rifle? Possibly they meant the quad .50 BMG mounted on the back of a deuce and a half? Stupid me...giving people the benefit of the doubt. When the hell will I learn? So...stupid-ass ideas: Dud rounds for tanks Remove F10 and F11 views for tanks Extra grenades for Assault class troops ('cuz there's not enough grenade spamming going on already...) Whining that someone didn't pull out a knife when you do. Don't bring a knife to a gun-fight, jackhole.

I know from personal experience that it will not work. People aren't usually able to make proper use of a bow MG gunner (as on the Tiger I, King Tiger, Panzer IVH) - how are they supposed to coordinate with a seperate gunner / driver?

I used to play BG42 before FH 0.6, and quite a lot at that. Back then, they had two positions on the Jagdpanther, and it was desaster. Total desaster.

It was tough playing with two guys in that tank already (because of lack of proper communication), but it was sheer horror for one player because if you didn't end up having your tank's front pointing towards the enemy, you'd have to change positions time and again. And by the time you'd have your tank properly directed, the enemy might have hit you so bad you can't really pay him back whatever the vehicle you've got.

On a side note, BG42 also removed the second position from the Jagdpanther on their last release, turning it back into a single-player vehicle. That should be enough of a lesson to us...

counterstrike has an ingame voice system, and i don't think it will be winning any "most teamwork encouraging mod" award. its just brainless nobodies who suggest having the driver and gunner separate on tanks.
