I'd like to add my thanks and nicely done. Definitely an interesting read and made all the more so from someone who's actually worked with it.

Killed in First Minute;3861445Trust me, in these forums, historical inaccuracy is a sin....
Yes and we crucify now! You got the cross and nails?
Fuzzy Bunny;3861975You guys are a pain in the ass, honestly.
By guys you mean the new guys on the forum who are still sore from their initiations?
Well thanks for the info. Would you like a cookie?

You're a bad ass aren't you...

Apparently my words were directed as negative. I'll redo the smiley.

*sigh*

Apparently my comment was directed as negative. I think the smiley threw you off. I thanked him for the info... and asked if he would like a cookie in a playful tone.

The harsh sarcasm is well appreciated thanks.

Historical or not, I really just want to mount the thing and blast away.

Thanks for the cool info mate! Oh yeah, and i'm with fuzzy on this one all the way. Hard work always appreciated!

Hmmm....feels nice to emerge from the shadows and post once in a while. But the ingratious responses in this thread drove me to it. Dont take them too hard duck, they have not matured. Oh well, back to my hibernation until release.

let's not be hypocritical, you post way more asshole-ish posts to noobs who ask the "release" question.

Jimbom;3862202Awsome stuff mate! Were you a choco or a regular??
Both actually but I ended up in the RAAF where I spent most of my service.
I wonder if he has any pics of equipment from those years of service, pics are like gold around here. :) And im with fuzzy on this! Thx for the info, details are always good.

Yes I do have quite a few pictures about eight photo albums full. One day I'll get around to scanning them and perhaps uploading them.

Just to cover the potential questions;

Largest Gun Fired: 5.5" (@ a cliff face 1000m range direct shoot, HE{PD}.) WWII Rifles: German, British, American, Japanese (Arisaka 7.7mm only), Italian (Carcano carbine only) and Russian WWII SMGs: German, British, American, Australian, Russian (Ppsh 41 only) WWII MGs: German (MG34 and 42), British (Bren and Vickers), American (BAR, .30 cal, .50 cal), Japanese (Type 96) WWII Semi-Auto rifles: Gew 43 zf41, M1 carbine, M1 Garand, SVT40 PU

And all on a range not one fired in anger....

Thanks for the support guys.
