I believe this tank wasnt introduced until very late 1945 or even after the war was over, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

From what I heard it was never actually used in combat, but they were aroung at the end of the war.

the is3 was a post war tank and was the birth of the t72 tank of the cold war.I believe it was only used in a parade into Berlin long after the t34 85's and is 2's had won the battle. They were also stationed along the border facing the American Pershings and the British Fireflys.I don't believe they fired a shot in anger until Korea in 1950

I think that's T-54, not T-72.

Anyway I'd rather see all the little early war ruskie tanks in FH rather than the IS-3. Superheavy tanks have a tendency to fuck up balance on maps (Karelia anyone?).

i would like to see a maus factory attack level by either is-3's , or i forgot who attacked that factory. It would be a cool level imo, kinda like alphenfestung (sp?)

Hmm, let me think. We'd need

- Maus tank - some tank parts to place around the factory - IS3

That's one shitload of work that can be used on no other map

NO...

T-72 can trace its lineage directly back to the T-44. The T-44 was a wider and longer T-34 hull with a better transmission and had a modified and larger T-34/85 style turret mounting a 100mm gun. The turret was deemed to have too many shot traps and so was redesigned and a new round flattened turret we all know today was incorporated.
