...the fact that so few people play BF1942 anymore that they don't recognize an expack when they see one.

Instead, they usually cluster around them at a flag, saying, "duh, George, look, a rabbit, and I will name it George and hug it and pet it and BOOM"

Kekeke

Wait, I was supposed to pack, wasn't I.

Running away when somebody throws something at me is second nature.

Kinda sucks if you limp away and just avoided the bandages to stabilize you.

This is one of the many reasons I enjoy piloting the Goliath. There is nothing quite more comical and humorous than driving into a big group of enemies (That do not see you) Yell "Fire in the hole! and they see you and then they make a feeble attempt to run away and then BOOM! (Hopefully the prone GoliathGunner has jumped off of you by then) I laugh my ass off every time I do that with a Goliath.

Kind of off-topic, but it still includes running away and exploding!

I used to be so paranoid of expacks, that the sound of a grenade bouncing off my armour could get me to hit the gas and drive off, just incase it couild have been an expack. ^^

I just spent 20 minutes in hiding near a flag on Alpenfestung last night, after I'd rigged it with expacks (inconspicuously positioned around the flagpole.)

I swear, people just drove up to them, had a look around, looked at the funny packages, with no thought to the idea that, I dunno, there might be a guy with a detonator in the bushes. It took on Wile E. Coyote dimensions after a while, I was laughing so hard.

That is the very reason why you could see me throwing handgrenades at tanks as a last resort. Hoping to scare the driver (either a BF1942 player FH1 newbie OR somebody thinking any other form of explosives was thrown at their engine decks) and speed away.

Wouldn't work most of the time but sometimes it seemed to work (or I just got lucky). :)

Fuzzy, I know if I put Exp packs on say berlin, you'd go prone on them, I just know it.

I use to love the old days before satchel and all the engineers had expacks. I would sneak into the enemy base and rig a jeep with one and wait patiently for someone to get in, Its even better when he starts moshing, beeping and yelling for others to get in, wait till they drove of and just before they leave the clip plane. BOOM!

Made me giggle for hours.
