Ok, this is kind a dumb question, and I don't expect anyone to know this, but I really need to ask just in case.

As you may or may not be aware, I use Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9, as I am not fully financially self-sufficient . . . aka, I'm 17 :( Being a bus boy, I can only pay for so much of an expensive program :nodding:

So, the hard part of this, is trying to find brushes that work. This is rather difficult, as I want to be able to make better grunge sigs, but I'm especialy hard pressed to find grunge brushes that go at angles (i.e. Like "\") and that is (in my opinion) rather essential so that everything is not the same 90 degree angles (or very close). So I've been searching relatively extensively for brushes for paint shop. And I've come accross something . . . odd . . . .

Photoshop often uses brushes in .abr format . . . paint shop also uses several brushes in .abr format (as well as .pspBrush, .jbr, etc). However, the search is not that overly simplistic. Some .abr files work . . . most, do not. I have no idea of the difference between these, or why some work and some will not. Example:

This will not work, however, this will . . . what is the difference between these two files? Also, is there any conceivable way to make the ones that aren't compatable, compatable?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Steakboy - Resident N00b at Large . . . . -

One thing you could do is give us links to the brushes, so we can make single images for each brush and upload them for you, so you can then make your own brushes for PSP. After that, you could even upload the PSP brushes for other PSPers.
