What color(s): dark blues and greys - What style: tech - What picture(s) : a design that looks like circuits (dont have to be green) in the background maybe with a picture of a sweet modded computer with blue led lights - What name: Plainfield Computer Shop - What size: (w)800 x 125 or 150 - Whether or not you would like an avatar to match: no - Any other relevent information for the designer (what you like, dislike, etc): Hey guys first post but i need a banner for a computer shop site that i am creating, my photoshop guy just left the company and i am really in need of help so please if anyone can help please help me out. My client wants a dark grey / dark blue colored theme, i am also looking for some animation that a light could light up the words Plainfield Computer Shop or it could slowly fade in each letter at a time, i know its a big job but i really need the help.

also if anyone does help and i do use their design i will put their name on the site for personal promotion, and this site will be visited by tons of people in indiana cuz this company just started but is huge, so your work will be seen by a lot of people.

My mom's from Indianapolis; I'll help you. Do you have any specific pictures of a 'modded computer'?

Okay, here's the first draft. No animation, nothing concrete, just testing concepts. plainfieldexample15wg.png Now you tell me what you want changed: Size (narrower, thinner, larger?) Background (darker, lighter? Different color scheme?) Border (yes, no, specific ideas?) Lettering (too unclear? different feel/font? don't like the 'e' letter?) Images (want stuff added? moved around?) Etc. Just tell me what you want in there, and once that's all set up I'll animate it. Don't worry about 'overloading me' or anything, just say what you want done and I'll tweak it as much as you want. Also (in advance), I really don't need any credit on the eventual website. I'm just a 15-year old behind a computer screen, the feeling that I was able to help someone is fine for me...

I think it looks pretty neat so far but things i want changed, background needs to be a darker blue, i want a sick looking tech border around it, different font something more proffessional

and for the background i have an image for you http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v301/Anath/circuits.jpg

make it darker blue and blur it a lil bit to make it look like a background. also i really appreciate what you doing for me thanks so much :D

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I had a busy week. *Background is now a darker blue *Border added, please tell me what you think *You said you wanted a more 'professional' font. Is there anything in particular? I added that one font, not doing anything special with the text, just to see what you think. Do you want a font like that, or another? plainfield1fh.png

Changes made as discussed over IM. plainfield24uv.png I think the base is definitely nearing completion, so it's time to start considering animation. I can either animate in a .gif, which is an image file that tends to result in discoloration -OR- I can animate it in Flash, which is a much-higher quality animation-movie. Downsides to .gif's: Low color variety, you will lose a lot of quality compared to the examples I've been showing Downsides to Flash: I am capable of doing a lot of basic stuff, but I am by no means a master, so it cannot get too complex in animation. Also, certain people do not have Flash player (although by now they are few and far between; it has become a pretty common thing)

Tell me what you want changed in this version and start considering what animation you want added to it (and whether in Flash or in .gif).
