I read on Relic News about how to make a banner and a badge, but I didn't understand it very well since it was my first time. Actually, I'm not really trying to make one. I have a symbol that I want as a badge and a banner. Well it's actually a screenshot of a symbol on a mod for a game, but now I'm just making things confusing. So I was wondering if it was possible and if so how to make a banner and a badge out of an existing picture/symbol/screenshot whatever you want to call it.
Heres one tutorial,
the dowfiles one is missing, i find it easier to use paint.net instead of photoshop, its free and just as good.
Ok I got Paint.NET, I open the picture I wanted, resized it to 64x64 pixels, and saved it as a .tga file to my Badges folder, and it didn't show up in the game. I followed the instructions from link you gave me, so what did I do wrong?
i found a program that makes badges and banners before, i cant remember the link, i jst remember putting in dawn of war badges and banners or sumthin like that, jst browse around there is easier ways of makin badges and banners than just the usual ways
Don't mean to sound stupid, but wouldn't that get rid of any color to the picture? Sorry I don't use programs like Photoshop or Paint.Net, so you might have to dumb down what you said a little.
I didn't make it!
I'd be willing to make you a banner or badge for a very reasonable fee. Especially if you are providing the images.
Moving this thread to the Graphics section, as it has more to do with graphics than it does DoW.
