Hi I am a new member of an outline gaming clan and one of my fellow clan members (gamesgenius) received a fantastic sig from one of your members. I have read through a number of the threads here and have seen some incredible artwork and was wondering if someone could design a sig and avatar for me. (I am completely useless at this sort of thing). The desired spec would be as follows. 1. WW2 theme (either Medal of Honor or Call of Duty) 2. Principal character in both the Avatar and sig to be a British Airborne (Parachute Regiment) soldier, carrying a rifle or machine gun 3. Signature layout - I loved the layout used in the signature developed by Sephiroth for Anath (I have attached this sig) and would like my sig to have a similar background. 4. Background, either flame (I liked the background of the sig used by the riddler) or a medal of honor or cod background. 5. Text, again I liked the signature developed for Anath with the animation of the wording. The wording I would like in my sig is OuTcAsTs and then Red Commando with the animation cycling between the two. In terms of font I liked that used in Showdown's font 6. In terms of the avatar it should use the main character (head and shoulders only) of the soldier graphic to be used in the sig. 7. The sig to be of standard permitted size. Thanks in advance and I look forward to seeing what you come up with. Red
This might work. Try to find the picture you want, right click it and choose edit after downlaoding it (you can right click the image and choose save image as...). This will take you to paint. Then click the cut button, highlight the part of the picture you want (cut should be approx. 100x100 pixels), adn place it on the upper left corner of the picture. Then click on the lower right corner of the picture and size it down until it fits the portion you just cut. If you want to, you can draw in a background in paint, but the resolution of what you draw (not the picture) will be bad. Save the picture as a new name and then you can use it as your avater.
As far as animated signatures, my guess would be to use paint and movie maker, but I am probably wrong at this. You probably need a graphics program to make those, which i don't have but I could try to find.
hey thats my name too killer kyle  look forward to seeing what you can come up with
Online/ on games and stuff? Maybe we can meet on UT2K4 Or wolfenstein. And right now I wasn't going to do anything as far as making something though I could try.
i would do one but i just cant find any good pics of cod
Just lifted this image off a cod fan site - it would be perfect incorporated within a sig - does this help Sephiroth?
its not brilliant but I came up with this with an avatar 1 has background 1 without
Thanks a lot Sephiroth for the very quick response. I like the sig but can I suggest a few possible improvements?
1. The soldier graphic I have chosen I think will look better in a larger sig. My clan allow me to use a sig 38mm high by 76mm wide (approx twice standard height). Can you resize the sig to this height and increase the size of the soldier graphic.
2. Can you change the color of the soldier's beret from green to red to match a british airborne soldier (if you can't do this, not that important).
3. I don't like the background of the sig as its texture seems to interfere with the soldier and tank graphics, can you change it to something which is less dark and allows the soldier and tank to stand out against it (or perhaps you could use a cod / medal of honor wallpaper as a background). I also attach a Union Jack pic which might look good as a backdrop but i'll leave the artistic stuff to you!
4. The lettering style you have chosen for Red Commando is great and the animation is excellent. Can you however spell the name of my clan as OuTcAsTs. My clan always use the alternate capital and small cap.Can you outline the lettering in black to make the red stand out? 5. Can you please delete the call of duty logo which I do not want as we are not exclusively a cod clan. 6. The avatars are excellent, thanks but can you change the color of the beret to dark red as per the sig and change the background color to say blue sky so that the avatar will stand out against it. Many thanks for all your efforts mate, am looking forward to reviewing the final version. Regards Red
erm sure but the 38 by 76 is quite small are you sure those are the measuremens anyway ill do it now
and the result .... the first is really small but its fits the guidelines the second is 400 x 200
