Do you mean for what version that tutorial is? I myself use GIMP 2 as well, and used that tutorial, so if you meant that, you should be fine.

Btw, Saquist, I think your new signature is really nice. It's cool.

Yeah what I really need is tut on gradints and brushes. I assume I can do the same stuff you guys do. I've figured out alot. But lot still eludes me.

I'd accept the thanks if I had anything to do with it but asking for and delivering the materials

It kewl...but S3phiroth is a master of this. It even better than the first and I think its because i told him to throw rules out. It's alot simpler than the first too. But I love looking thats for sure

For brushes you can use the link I posted.. I thought it didn't handle gradients though. But you can try browsing www.pixel2life.com It has some more GIMP tutorials. But I wouldn't get too excited though. I think GIMP is no match to Adobe Photoshop, but it's a good program. I'm not really good at it, I mostly just edit little things to make a sig. I only made one totally myself. It's pretty though making sigs. Also, I think the 'special effects', e.g. with .GIF the moving parts, it's hard.

Yeah, I knew S3phiroth made it, but it sure was worth a mention. One of the coolests sig around now, IMO.
