Probably should be in the graphics department. However, it may be answered before a Mod moves it. :D

Simple, pause the MPG. Press the "Prnt Scrn" key, on the keyboard. Now paste it into a program that can save as a GIF, or JPG. Rinse and Repeat.

OR...

Get these tools RAD Tools Movie creation, conversion. Used by professional Game developers. FREE

OpenFX 1.1 Several Image manipulation programs are in this bundle. It can take movies, and make them into individual images. Limited format support. OpenFX itself is useless, 3D manipulation only. FREE Open Source

Use Quickview. Export as a .mov and I think it lets you select the frame rate and the frame range. After that, just open the .mov in imageready and tweak.

Sorry, its been a while since I've been to that site.

Bink Video. Is the one to get. Run "radvideo.exe" after you install it. Select "Convert a file", and select the movie you want. Convert it to FLC or Flic format.

In the OpenFX folder run "fli2gif.exe". Open the Flic file, and convert it to GIF. Then find the images you want in your GIF movie, and Batch convert them with BINK Video.

Thats how I do it.
