I know I'm not well known here for graphics work. However, I was going through my old win3 mspaint images, renders, and 3D animations, and I came across this one.
Just wanting to get some opinions on it.
Its a big 1mb+ GIF file, just to warn you,...
This is also an experiment in trying to find an easier way to upload AVI's, and possibly clips.
Hah, nice. Nice and smooth, but better textures would make it a lot better. Some sort of texture for the table would be nice. Partially transparent/lighter butter would make it look less like playdough as well.
And turn on your anti aliasing or whatnot! Pixly! Nice though ;)
I'm not sure whether I need to get the program set back up, or just learn a new one.
The bread is not actually textured. That was a render I made back in 03, while learning about 3D animations. I should upload the original. The bread is ugly, and the knife is blue, and green.
That isn't a table, That is the floor,...
Oh, and I really do appreciate your reply.
I've got several. A nifty little Star Trek weapons fire animation, completely modeled from scratch.
A Sonic the Hedgehog running, a couple of boring race cars, A coffee pot that empties itself entirely into a small cup. A Battle Droid packing Six Shooters, and a Naboo Starfighter evading laser fire.
Sorry about the floor table mix up, I didn't think twice :p
You should post more, I love this stuff. Also, out of curiousity, what program did you use to make these?

That is really cool. Your sequence looks smooth, and it looks like you've got the right rate. Nice job.
I used a little known "Rendering Studio Suite", called "OpenFX". It is actually an Open Source 3D Animation suite. Which is very different from Blender. More like Milkshape 3D actually.
My Star Trek render.
No problems about the floor, table mix up. It was intentional. I haven't yet modeled the right table for that sequence.
They don't seem quite as smooth on Internet Explorer 7, on Windows XP... Not sure why. They great in Windows Media Player, or Quicktime.
Seems pretty smooth to me :p
I've got to get the program set back up, and load up my Sonic the Hedgehog render. Its Gif is 7mb! The AVI is 20mb...
So I'm just going to have to re-render it, possibly at a lower res...
Anyway, I've got the Battle Droid Animation converted, and uploaded. This is an early attempt to animate a figure. I decided to go with something simple. I hadn't yet modeled a blaster, so I put a revolver in its place.
Sonic is a good bit better, if you ignore the head. His feet move more naturally... I hope to upload it soon.

All about Sonic. Looking forward to seeing that one =P And nice with the animation.. I know how tedious that can get.
Sorry for the delay, I've had to lower the resolution, to get it to upload.
Hopefully, it was worth the wait,...
