In this tutorial u will learn how to make a header that is in more than one piece! #1. From your uploaded web site Find "ALL" the pieces to your Header " I'm using the Nuke Evolution Basic v2.0.2 Header for this tutorial. #2. Upload all pieces to your Photo shop "Here is a Pic of Mine".
#3. Now make a new Transparent Document Bigger than what the image will be when done. #4. On your first piece Go to Select / All / then go to Edit / Cut Now go to Your new document from step 3 / Now go to Edit / Paste / Discard empties. Repeat this step as many times as needed, I did this 6 times in total, Here is a PIC of mine.
#5. Now organize all the pieces to fit Then go to Layer / Merge Visible Should look similar to this.
#6. Now go to Image / Trim / using these settings Click OK, Your image should be the exact size it needs to be now.
#7. What i did was Using all my editing tools I cleaned this picture out just so i can use the border, Now it looks like this!
#8. Now i made a new layer from Step 7 & started to customize my header / Mine is this one & its in about 5 layers.
#9. Now go to Layer / Merge Visible Now u have your header, Next we will cut it up to fit. #10. Re-upload the original pieces. #11. Pick your first original piece go to Select Rectangular marquee tool / Fixed size now go to your first image / image size, take image width & Height / apply to Fixed size Rectangular marquee tool. #12. Now using the marquee tool go to your Header & lay it where you want to cut then go to Edit / cut now go to File / New / click OK / now go to Edit / Paste, There is your first piece. #13. Now go to File / Save for Web, Name it as same as the original one. #14. Now Repeat step 11 - 12 & 13 as many times as needed. #15. Here is what i did!
