An animated gif of the matrix code! cya.gif Even an .AVI or something will do, so long as I can imbed it into flash and/or HTML. Does anybody have something like this I could use for a 3d anim and site?

Please search the forums. I remember a while ago we posted a lot of matrix code here.

Actually.... Now that I'm actually nearing the point at which I need this thing, I'm not to sure the avvy sized gifs in the thread you linked will do. I could probably do this myself, but somehow I have the feeling one or two of you would enjoy the challenge of finding something like this :P I need a large sized movie or prefrably .gif of the largest -quality- matrix you can get me, or a decent sized one that tiles (and of course loops). Heres the context: Its an intro for a website, a 3D model of an optical data storage device, the glass computer disk you see in everything from the matrix movies themselves to Halo, is turning in the air in front of a blue matrix pattern with some techno matrix music, and everythings looking cool. Then a the matrix code suddenly falls away and a black rectangle passes and then a white one. Suddenly the camera zooms out and you find out that the glass disk was in fact falling past the front panel of a flatscreen moniter with a blue matrix screensaver, the black rectangle was the bottom edge of the moniter, and the white is the background. Zoomed out, the glass disk slowly falls the rest of the way 'down' and lands lightly on an already existing pile of glass disks sitting in front of the moniter. Once this sinks in, the screen changes to show the big letters 'SP', for the site's name (Scenario Pile), and you enter the site. I already have the 3D model - heres the level of coolness were talking about. I havn't constructed a model of the Moniter yet, but it'll be pretty easy given I'm looking at one right now. The hardest part is going to be figuring out how to animate and aquiring a -high resolution- copy of the matrix code. Phoenix, I'd PM ya but I wanna make sure nobody incidently has exactly what I'm lookin for :)

Perhaps I'll make you one when I get home..

But what do you want it to look like... Do you want actual text symbols scrolling? Or just anything with the glow scrolling.

Needuth is a, ah, 'stylized' way of saying 'need'. Anyway, any kinda sweet cool glowy scrolling matrix code is cool. Actually, if you're going to go and make it yourself, go crazy, I only need this for a futuristic 'cool' aesthetic appeal, nothing else. :D
