I drew an icon in MS Paint then named it with .ico after the name.

Now I use this icon on something. But now, it apears to have 2 black lines, one on the top of the icon and one on the bottom.

What am I doing wrong or, what is the right way to make an icon?

I didn't know you could make icon files with paint... =/

Maybe try saving it as a .gif?

I just save them as .pngs or .bmps. Then I just simply rename them.

I had to enter my email so it could send me the link to download the program. So now I have the email but when I click on the link it says the page cannot be found.
