Maybe if you added some really slight color to them. Subtle gradients perhaps. Then they would pop out a little more, and take more shape.
well started work on a few textures for ground. Bloody hell I am starting to appreciate the simplicity of vectors. I utterly fail at ground textures :P
These are just some of the diffuse maps. Normals and lightnings have to be done. If anyone has any contributions to the theme - imagine a bluish world, think starcraft twilight tileset, they'd have my never ending love :P I need all the help I can get :D

yay for finally finding a few moments to actually do something.
Been testing rigging and posing mostly (and loving ambient occlusion) - for the record the only model in this scene I did was the ground. The female is sort of hacked together from various models and the spider thing is borrowed from supcom I was mostly just trying to make a working skeleton
