Line tutorial for siggy's 7 replies

Open the siggy you want the lines on Go here and select the "Line Tool" untitled23wk.jpg Then go to your signature and hold Shift and draw the line you want. (Holding Shift makes it perfectly straight) Once you have done this make a new layer and place it under the line layer. then select the Line Layer and merge it down. (If this doesn't work right click the Line Layer and press "Rasterize ..." then merge it down and it should work) untitled37vq.jpgOnce you have something like the above we can move on. Now with the (merged) line layer still active go to "Filter - Blur - Motion Blur" Enter a value of 30-50 on 90 degrees (for a vertical line) or 0 degrees for a horizontal line. Press OK. Now you have a stretched line, go to your layer palette and set the line layer to overlay et voila! siggyedited2kz.jpgOther image, I know :) +rep always appreciated

I used the techique, check the updated sig - its just a lil bit too blended in :p:

#Tip:

Duplicate a Line Layer and set it to Soft Light and turn the opacity down a bit. It might become more visible this way.
