I was bored so I decided to make a desktop, this is how it turned out:

attachment.php?attachmentid=25379&stc=1

The blending kinda sucks but I think I'll polish it a bit later. What do you guys think? Do you know any cool effects I could add to it?

7/10 it's good, pretty darn good, but it is just way too jumbled and crammed, possibly take out the flag and the bottom right-hand troops.

Wtf is radial blur? lol.

The only thing I've used is the eraser tool.

Here's Version 2.0 (I kinda like it)

Lower the opacity of the eraser and increase the brush size to have the insets fade better into the main image. Then, try this: use gaussian blur and set it to 20. Then, go to EDIT>FADE GAUSSIAN BLUR and set ti to DARKEN. Finally, click CTRL+U and increase the saturation. I think you'll like it.

what software do you use? if you photoshop don't use the eraser but apply a mask to the layers you want faded, select the mask and experiment with a black to white gradient, you'll see you'll like it...

I use PS CS. Do you have a link to a tutorial that shows how to do that?
