Yeah, it was moved twice, but its in the right spot now.
Magic Wand is good for feathering, and clearing out excess stuff before cutting out a render, but not really good for actually cutting away a render. The pen tool or magnetic lasso tool work better.
cool! thanks im not sure how to use the magic wand in that way! but i shall have a go!:D
Yeah check the tutorials section. I posted a pretty good tutorial on how to cut out "renders" (or images). If you have any questions feel free to post em there or PM me
Phoenix_22(...)there is so much more out there than sigs.
Quoted for emphasys.
Phoenix_22If you don't have to, don't bother with the magic wand. Basically what you want to do is cut-out the image you want, place it on a certain background that is 1 image, then belnd them all in, adjusting colors, and all that stuff as you go.
I like the path you are starting out in (blending photos into a background), its different than sigs, and believe me, there is so much mroe out there than sigs. Just keep working on it, you've got some great backgrounds. :)
What he says. The magic wand is evil. Half of the time it will leave your render half-cut out and pixellated around the borders. I suggest scouring around on websites like www.gamerenders.com to find some nice cutouts.
suppose thats good for a start mate
