Does anyone know how the hell to create paper cone cut out? For instance I wanna draw the guide lines in illustrator that are the lines i must cut along to create a cone, however I have no idea how to do this... should I suicide now... or what?
Closest thing I can find is: http://mathcentral.uregina.ca/QQ/database/QQ.09.99/john2.html
But surely there is an easier way :P
I'm not quite sure what you're asking but... basically, you may want to try a circle with a line from one edge to the centre. Cut along the line, and then slide it around, untill it forms a cone. Did you get that?
Oh I got that hun' :naughty: Ill give it a go... amongst other things :naughty: x2
'Right, you've attracted a crowd now, so i'll leave them to help you figure out how to do it.
1)Take a piece of paper 2)Curve it into the shape you want 3)Cut off the extra paper 4)Scan the paper in, use black backing if you cannot see the outline 5)Use Illustrator to trace outline
Oh nevermind this... Basically ill explain what I was trying to do... for an assigment we have to choose a product from any store and turn it into something else, but it must kinda relate to what the product originally was.... for instance I was gona use a can of bug spray and turn it into a missle shaped object, that I could make up a labeling like 'Bug Nuker' but now I realise I HATE CONES! SOoooooo ive decided to turn the can into this:
Radiation is good.............
