Does anybody know how to avoid that annoying grey where there should be nothing. I'm guessing that this might be one for NCOL. Cheers guys.

Get Firefox or Opera? Internet Explorer doesn't render transparency correctly on .pngs so just plugs it with a flat color. There is a code on these forums that makes Internet Explorer render .pngs correctly, which works. But other than that it's not possible.

Dont flatten the layers before you save.

Why would you want to flatten the image anyway? There is usually no reason to do it.

He has got proper transparency on his current signature, so he doesn't have a problem with saving it, just viewing it.

No idea. A lot of people do it, thinking that is reduces file size. Flattening it just makes the transparency grey...

He didnt say that for certain though; I'm just offering an alternative reason to the one you posted. Either of us could be right, though.

yeah, Firefox is the best option, plus the newest Beta of Internet Explorer (Internet Explorer 7 Beta) handles the proper transparencies, but . . . it's still IE :p
