Thought this place could use an extra post or two.

All taken last fall at a nearby park. Had a lot of focusing issues since it was my first outing with the all manual Super-Takumar 50mm.

I agree with Lindale, the pine cone shot is excellent, and I quite like the last one, I'd be interested in seeing more.

Manual 135m lenses are a bit awkward on crop cameras.

Wow, very different to the first set. I like them, they are quite moody, especially the second one. The last one is nice, the sort of thing I can imagine looking pretty good on a canvas on a light colored wall.

I really like the Black and white set, when used right, black and white can really make an impact, and you sure did use it right.

I have to disagree.Although I do like black and white in the right setting, the subject matter is what turned me away from that series. I greatly prefer scenery, pure nature, untouched if possible. If I see anything that even slightly suggests at a human population, you have lost me. With that in mind, I greatly preferred the first series.

I've always been drawn to nature photography, but lately I've been getting into "street" photography too.

Anyway, here are a few from this morning. Unfortunately I went too early and missed all of the good light.

I like the black and white set, kind of makes it seem to show how people feel... like a country or town slowly crumbling.

I especially like that one. Lots of nice interesting curves and lines. Pity about the person but -shrug-

Perhaps shot from slightly lower down and more out towards the centre of the walkway (or wherever it is) ?
