Before I begin, I'd like to say that most of my stuff can be found on my DeviantArt account.
Here's some of my favorite stuff that I have made:
A sig image for my best friend.
Naked Snake sig, made for myself.
Death Note FTW!
Trying to make a sig with a brighter theme than I usually make.
Made during my Mushroomhead addiction.
My boredom showing in .gif form.
Avatars made for a graphics contest on an old forum I used to visit.
Paintings made for a class I used to take. I never was a good painter...
Just a photo edit to make me appear Sith-ish. First attempt at this sort of thing. I am especially proud of the work on the eyes.
A character from a story I am writing. Hand drawn, scanned, then colored in photoshop.
A drawing of my dad. I just wish he were alive to see it.
A drawing of... me! Based on a self-photo.
A comic I made for a website that one of my friends was running at the time. I also submitted this as a JK3Files PotD, where it got it's one day of fame. None of the characters were actually in the backgrounds. I just loaded up MP/FFA5 in JK3, took a few screenshots of the levels, and used ModView to get screenshots of the character models to add in...
Comments appreciated--no, not appreciated, encouraged!
And my first piece of work after creating this thread:
A simple little ID sig to use around here. Originally was gonna be a JK-related ID, but I couldn't think of enough to put into it, so I threw my xbox info in there instead. :p
very resourceful and creative! two suggestions for text: try not to put text right into corners, and avoid placing renders on top of text. you obviously enjoy art and being creative. keep up the fine effort. especially your hand drawings!
Text has always been one of my greatest problems when it comes to digital works. My defense for having the text in the corner sometimes, though, is that for some of them I intended the text to be there, but not the first thing the eye is drawn to.
Any other crits? I enjoy receiving all the feedback that I can when it comes to the things I make...
First things first, new drawing! Well, not necessarily new, but updated... Worked on the shading a bit:
I'm not at all happy with the tux shading, or much of the shading on Solid Snake at all, but I am rather pleased with the shading on Big Boss. But, it is unfinished, of course. I do plan on working on it more. A lot more.
But since I liked one of the two characters well enough, and I had some free time on my hands without anything in particular to do, I made a quick banner from the drawing:
This, too, is unfinished. Why? Because I got this far, then Photoshop crashed on me, and I couldn't be bothered starting it up again. I actually did almost no coloring in that banner. The brown comes from the original drawing's coloring, with a bit of adjusting the brightness and contrast, the hair is simply the same thing, but desaturated and brightened. The only real coloring I did was the red tip at the end of the cigar. I did do a bit of darkening in certain places, though, but I wouldn't consider that coloring...
Started working on a new sig instead of finishing the last one I was working on:
Update of the Flames of War sig:
Mmkay, been a while since I added anything new here, so...
A sig made for a friend. It actually isn't completely finished, but I sorta gave up on it, like about 90% of the stuff I start.
A set of IMVU display pics that a friend asked me to make. None of them were actually used, but whatever. I didn't try too hard on them anyway. :/
A drawing of my niece for her first birthday.
A drawing of my niece for her second birthday. I couldn't get her hair quite right, so I took the easy route out and just made her fade into the darkness.
I dunno why I drew this, or what it is supposed to be. I just started drawing randomly, and this is what came of it.
And this is the same image, altered in Photoshop.
Started drawing this right after the one pictured above. I work on it a little bit at a time. First the head... Then the chest... Then an arm... Slowly working my way to a full picture.
That's my most recent stuff... Comments (Especially constructive criticism) appreciated!
Yet another drawing for my niece. Still far from finished, but I'm liking this one more than the others I've posted so far.
Original picture that I am basing the drawing on:
As always, comments much appreciated, and feel free to check out my DeviantArt account linked in the first post in this thread.
