To anyone willing to accepth the challenge...

Whatever size you want is fine, just not too small.

I would like a picture of Otto Carius in his Panzer uniform, over an image of a Tiger Ausf. H in an Eastern Europe rural setting. The Ausf. E is fine if that is all you can find.

I would prefer color for everything but the image of Lt. Carius.

If possible, a small "movie" of a Tiger firing its main cannon at a distant enemy would be AWESOME.

Other than that, feel free to take creative license with the rest of the image. Have fun, and good luck to whoever decides to do this for me.

Thanks for your time, in advance.

Oh yeah, for information on Carius and his tanks, go to: www.achtungpanzer.com

Only picture of Carius I could find was this low quality goofy boy shit:

I can work with it, but I dont think that was the picture you had in mind...

You're gonna have to hook me up with the images partner.

Actually, that is him in Sevastapol in 1944. He wasn't a boy, but he was very small for a tank commander. Doesn't look like the kind of guy to kill 200 Russian tanks, and still be the leading tank ace of all time, eh? I'll scan a different image of him from his book Tigers in the Mud when I have a minute. SOME OTHERS carius_3s.jpghome.htm?ww2kcwinners.htm~mainami But I might be able to find better ones in his book. Also, I think I know which picture I would like you to use for the main image, so wait for that too.

Thats with a Jagdtiger. I think he only killed, at most, two tanks with that vehicle. One, however, he shot through a few stone walls of a German house. Oh yeah, nearly forgot! Please add this line, as you see it, as the name in the sig. 130 Panzer Lehr, Carius, Panzer Batallion.

Ok, well if you have the particular images you want, I will wait for them like a little teenie girl waiting for her prom date.

Didn't see where you wrote, "Wait" heh. Mybad. ottosigusma0cq.gif I think the tanks I found are the right ones, but I still have the PSD's so if not i can change em. I found pics of the medals he won, and figured I'd put those in as well. Iron Cross, Knight's Cross, Silver Panzer Badge etc. Also, to give credit where credit's due I coped the basic layout from one tap did.

Ahem:

- No swastikas in clearly visible positions (details such as insignia or medals on uniforms are acceptable) - No SS insignias (neither the runes nor the skull) - No pictures showing leading figureheads of the Nazi regime (this does not include army commanders such as Field Marshall Rommel or Admiral Dönitz) - No caricatures of the above (this includes President Bush and others displayed as Hitler) - No obvious propaganda images (such as idealistic soldier images and Nazi propaganda posters) - Furthermore, the normal guidelines apply. If a fellow member is offended by your signature or avatar, you may be requested to change it.

FraggerAhem:

(details such as insignia or medals on uniforms are acceptable) The two on the left are both medals (neither are showing swastikas, and anyone who knows anything about german military history will recognize both of them as Medals, the Iron Cross and The Knights Cross have both been used by the german military in variations since the 1800's.), as is the one in the middle. The flag on the right is the battle flag (which isn't showing a swastika either) his unit fought under. What's the problem? There's no SS, no Hitler, no propoganda. The only swastika in the entire sig is the one in the badge, which is obviously a medal. Seriously, Don't take this the wrong way - but you need to go outside and get a hobby. BTW, was giving me negative rep over the advice I gave you regarding the "form" really necesary? I don't mind getting it if you can justify it, but your message ("No.") didn't quite do that.
