As for the sparkle in the mask, do you mean a glare? If so, just make 2 frames, one with and one without the glare and tween them. The speech balloon is easier, just make it appear at one frame and give it enough delay so people can read it. Then just remove it.

You would need to make individual frames each one with the glare in a different position on the mask to give the effect its moving across it.

OK, here it goes: Create a new image in photoshop and, in different layers, put the stuff you want to animate. Once you have all the elements, import it into imageready (CTRL+SHIFT+M). In IR, you should already have the first frame open on the frames window. If you want things to appear, turn off the corresponding layer. If you want them to disappear, do the opposite. Once you have the first frame the way you want, click the button at the bottom to create a new frame. Turn layers on/off to suit your needs. keep going until you finish. IMPORTANT Once you have more than one frame, DO NOT touch frame 1. Doing so will screw up your animation, since it does the changes in all the frames. If you really have to, create a new frame, move it to frame one and then fix the old frame one. When you finish, delete the frame you created.
