I've always wondered how you put video clips into images, also what program do you need to make them?
take your video clip, convert it to .mov and import it into imageready.
enlarge the canvas, so it's much bigger than the signature will be.
select all your frames and resize them, so they fit in the final signature
select frame one and start editing the animation. don't touch any of the original layers, or your video clip will get ruined.
when finished, crop your signature to the right size and maybe trim a few frames from the animation to make your signature size in kb smaller.
that's pretty much it.
could you put pictures with that.... and whats image ready...

say wa?...
at what point would I put the rest of the signature in, I want to make one of the sig with an image and the video in, would that be once I've resized the animation and have some empty space around it.
where can I get a program that converts .AVIs to .MOVs?
Gooooooooooogle
Also you'll have to be more detailed. I don't normally use Photoshop.

ImageReady is PhotoShop CS2 brother =p It comes with PS and is used for animation mainly.
ImageReady is integrated in PhotoShop CS3.
I get step one and two but the next ones just make no sense.
