very nice job, what program do you use?

Rhino 3, Gmax, abit of 3Ds Max and Pinguin 1.0 for making the cartoon renders.

They look great. Did you have to buy all those programs, or just download them? And how much does 3ds max cost?

modeling about 2 years...the tank took me about 2 days...

Did you have to buy all those programs, or just download them? And how much does 3ds max cost?

well, if ill answer that my tupic will prbebly get closed... and 3ds max cost about 500$ if i remember correctly...

Gmax is a 'downgraded' version of 3ds max with many limitations but it is freeware it can give you a modelling insight.

sure gmax is free.. rhino and pinguin have a free evaluation versions. that has a limitation on saving (its stupid but it also includes copy and pase options). so u have to buy the comercial version... that cost 300$ if im not mistaking..
