Alrighty, I'll give this a second try, this time I'll be sure to post them so that you don't have to view them via a link. My very first sig made with photoshop, finally making the transition into the big leagues from macromedia fireworks. If you don't get it, it's a favorite band of mine, wikipedia it if you are still curious. Discovering pixel stretches to make backgrounds, as well as downloaded blood brushes. Beginning to play around with the pen tool, after reading a tutorial on how to make cool glowing lines. Again, experimenting with the pen tool, I never really got the hang of it though. Moving back to the basics, but experimenting more with text. Fooling around with some brushing.
Back again with the eye motif. Starting to get into some lighting, blurring, and downloaded brushes again. Not one I was proud of, a bit of a temporary relapse into noobishness. Sort of a refresh into more artistic designs. Tada!!!! One of my favorites. The outcome of experimenting with clouds in the background, and it just happened to work very well with an Initial D motif. I think this one is a bit out of order, but I forgot when I made it. Looks kinda noobish with the purple glow, but... groovey nonetheless. I think I was a bit depressed when I made this one, LoLz!!! That face scared the shit outta me so much that when I was making it, I blotted it out :p And so I cheered myself up a bit by fooling around with some more cheerfull colors. This was a failed attempt at doing the stroke pattern of \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\, but it ended up looking cool anyway. Having some fun with WRC, =p Nearing the end of my Philosophy class, I watched the Matrix films a couple of times, and got some inspiration. After the shocking death of Heath Ledger, I found a really cool pic off a movie poster from his last movie. Filling a request, and playing around with some clouds again. Another request. SOTW #54 entry, and beginning to fool around with abstract background renders, as well as rectangles for text. Yet again falling back to a state of noobishness. This request really stumped me. But not to fret, I quickly found a tutorial on how to do glowing sparks, as to freshen up my design. I also found fractal renders to be very helpful. Another one of my favorites, and getting into a really nice grove with the fractal, sparks, and classic rock inspired sigs. My first attempt at "pop out" sigs, some critisized this for the hair looking bad at the pop out area, but honestly that was just the way the render was. This is another one of my favorites. Filling a request with my new found style. Alas, I bring this very long post to an end with my very latest work, inspired by the movie "Flyboys". Questions and comments are not only welcomed but wanted :nodding:

those are great what do u use?
Adobe Photoshop 7.0 I'm too cheap to buy CS3, and 7.0 has pretty much all the same functions as CS3 anyway. It's only about $100, which is rather cheap for photoshop style programs. A worthwile investment if you ask me.

Got to say - those sigs are listed chonologicaly right? - if yes, great improving.
Yes, I tried to chrono them best I could, some of the older ones are probably out of order, but for the most part they show how my skills increased. ^Thanks.

Yes, it's a brilliant showcase and it show's you've been learning new stuff each time, if you could point me towards some tuts.
Photoshop Tutorials and Flash Tutorials This site has tonnes of good stuff for just about any gfx program out there, I've found it quite useful. Edit: An Update already!!! Filling a request, trying out a non pop out transparency. It looked really good in my head, but it didn't quire turn out the way I wanted. My new Avy, inspired by the totally awesome Volkswagen ads
Well, it's been a while since I've posted some stuff, but I can't say I've had much stuff to post. It must be these cold winter blues that drive away the imagination. However it's been in the past week that I've done some of my latest, and as I think, best work. This sig was made from screenshot I made from a phenomonal video @ SUPERCARMOVIES.com of a Koinegsegg CCX. If you love cars I reccomend you visit this site, it's amazing. This sig is the first time I figured out scanlines, WOOT  This is my newest sig, I got the inspiration when suddenly the "all we are saying... is give peace a chance" tune popped into my head. This sig is completely tutorial free, it's all my own experimentation with the "healing" tool, smudging, and sharpening. I made the background by using the "healing" tool to copy bits of the face into an abstract blend of facial features. Then I smudged and sharpened them to highlight some areas, and blend others. I did some blurring, smudging, and sharpening on the face, and experimented with layer styles on the text layers. Also applying a wicked fractal from Planet Renders v3 (they have awesome transparent renders which are perfect for giving color tints), and finally threw on the border. Sorry for the long winded description :p
I didn't make it!
Some great improvement there mate :) I love the hendrix one and the koienensegg... Some really sweet tags ;)
