Starts with warning to BU AO and User .ini files. Went to system folder and could not locate such files. Strange in that the game functions fine. Continuing, the next warning is "Missing or Invalid Registry/.ini" and am forced to abort. Thought the usual Repair function operated with uninstall, but ooops , it jus' plum pisadeared. Once more into the breach. Anyone gottaclue ?

Reinstallation of v2.4 will activate the patch, however, the files cited above are still MIA.

The User.ini and ArmyOps.ini will be located in your America's Army\System directory.

when you uninstall make sure you delete ALL the program folders. Usally after you uninstall AA there is still a Americas Army folder in your Program Files folder on your C Drive. Go ahead and delete it so you will have a fresh 2.4 ready to patch to 2.5 or just install that full 2.5 version. I patched my 2.4 -> 2.5 and it works fine. There will be bugs and kinks. Just keep trying and ask us for help. We will do our best to work on your concerns.

installed w/o problem (that's a new progress :)). score gui looks much better, enlarged for easier requests. weapons section now gives a really kewl view of what you will use (but they still fail to activate the sets). it is my opinion that if one is SF that should apply to all maps not just SF designated. it would certainly even a few things up. what an improvement in the ironsight view !!! HUNRAH and kudos to resolve that balagon mess they had previously. before any comments vav HUNRAH, it is the original, a Turkish word for "kill"; read Revolutionary Naval warfare and our visits to the Barbary Coast (and no, not the San Francisco Barbary Coast either). HUAHA is a bastardization of HUNRAH. back to the front lines

experiencing some shredding not had before. Lag time is terrible on some servers. Nice ping updating and point allotment advisory. Re did Basic Marksman to learn the sights we should have had the first time and as I knew them in real life. (just as I was getting use to what they issued). Now I won't have to snatch an AK since it had the better sights. Shoot House is fun - but caveat: they tell you rooms are clear when they aren't but you expect that's permission to move to next door(s). Then you are berated at completion for not shooting more targets. That's rather two faced, mo. It is more aligned with say Urban Assault. However, mo, they should have retained the old MOUT scenario also. The online missions tab now works but don't think they are training exercises because they aren't. It throws you directly into the standard map fray. They may get that one right some day. The Basic Obstacle course is still fubared. It would lock up at various locations and the wall/beams/ramp is as bad or worse than ever and the DI there will always be obnoxious. Who really gas about coming down the stupid frickin net anyway, u could jump and begone before you ever got off the net backwards. In short, I redid the entire training program. Marksmanship skills went up by 2. Sniper school took two trys for the kill the mortar scenario. E&E was flawless, live jump was 3 trys. Obstacle course was about 10x although I completed it on the 2x and it locked up having passed under the wire with 6 secs to spare. That's another wish list for someday. Took approximately (with minor interuptions) about 4 hrs (97 min on E&E).
