Derangdhobo A lot of games have NO storyline and I still play them. For instance, Super Smash Brothers Melee. If you have never played that game, I suggest you do. Howhever, if you like to play games for the storyline, then that's you. Howhever, I'd take gameplay over storyline anyday. Also, I'd like to thank you for having a post that doesn't include, "Get over yourself!", or, "You little twat!".

Yeah, but some games do need a storyline while others don't need it at all, All RPGs must have storyline because it would just not do it. While some games do not need a storyline at all like fighting games like super/ smash bros/ melee because the way you act in a fighting game and a RPG is different, in a RPG you need to search/make guesses/find stategies and listen to what they say exemple:''I heard Argo(evil guy in that case) didn't go to that place because the elements turn against him when he gets there.''so you will use your logic sence and search for something there that might help you and then the story goes on, it could also be something that has something to do with the story, be some hints in the story. in a fighting game all you need to know is to fight/techniques/combos. so that might be the reason why they concentrate mostly on the storyline on RPGs.
