I had originally planned this to just be a short clip showing how to climb up to the elevator in Call of Juarez 2, as some have trouble navigating through the lasso points in that part of the game. Then I decided I'd just go ahead and show the whole last half of their escape off the cliffs. Music is Pistolero, by Juno Reactor.

I loved that game. One of my favorites. I played it the first time as Thomas, the second time as Ray. Gorgeous visuals & terrific dialog/banter.

Can't believe how smooth it runs with those kind of graphics (plus with video recording on). Very nice video. I really want to play this game though I know it would kill my PC even if the game did actually launch.

Thanks for thinking of me bro but I've never played that game, nor have interest in doing so.

Also you could've just posted a link to GameAnyone, they have 1,000s of videos plus a walkthrough of this game. Save you some time.

I like the dialog too, and got lucky to get one of Ray's most humorous anecdote's from his dad in this capture. My fave part for visuals is the trip down the river in the canoe, very realistic. I do kinda miss the spots in the first one where you could jump the horse across canyon gaps and shoot the bow at Indians while charging on horseback. The duels are more realistic in this one but they're a bit annoying in that your character doesn't want to draw if you're still strafing to center the enemy.

Well all I can say to that is I run it on very outdated spec. I have a P4 3GHz, X1950Pro, 2GB RAM rig on AGP. The two spots in the video that had the most lag while recording was shooting the gunpowder barrels on the elevator (why I missed some) and more so, the pistol shootout alongside Ray and the end. Neither are terribly laggy while not recording though. I play with High shadows, High textures, Medium material, Low effects, Simple post processing @ 1024x768. The video was actually captured at 1280x720 though, and I retained all other settings as mentioned.[QUOTE=N88TR;4956033]Thanks for thinking of me bro but I've never played that game, nor have interest in doing so.

LOL, it's rather self centered to imply I was thinking solely of you when you do nothing but thumb your nose at the game and the video of it I offered to those interested in playing it. Why even take the time to respond if you have no interest in it? Maybe you should hang out at GameAnyone instead of creating insulting posts here. Video making has been a hobby of mine for some time. Why would I want to merely link to someone else's when I can make my own? That's a downright lazy concept, and all too common on the net these days. It's why many don't have skills of their own too.

Nice video.

I thought about buying that game. I played the first part and liked it but it crashed at some point and corrupted the save-games which I found a bit annoying.

MrFancypants;4956363Nice video.

Thanks, glad yawl liked it. ;)

I've been fairly fortunate as far as not having any bugs, at least the first 3 times through the game. The 4th time I was playing on Very Hard a 2nd time. I got a bit tired of the duels, as they get frustrating on Very Hard with much quicker draw time for the enemy and the tendency of the game not letting you draw if you're still strafing to center the enemy.

I decided to use a dev mode hack I found after editing the duel scripts not working well. With the hack you get two added menus you can access when hitting Esc while in game. In this way you can choose God mode or quick kill the enemy when in duels to get back to the rest of the action without several retries to get through them.

I wound up with a bit of graphics problems when experimenting with too many of the settings in dev mode, so I reinstalled the game after thoroughly removing it and all leftover bits. I had one major bug after reinstalling, I could not get in the church where Marisa flees to, as the doors were closed.

Remembering that other famous Ubi games, Far Cry and Far Cry 2 had similar problems, despite being developed by other teams, I decided to replay that chapter, this time without quicksaving, which is speculated to be the cause of certain intermittent bugs (like the Cooler bug) in Far Cry.

This time, the church doors were wide open. They always had the bug if I tried any of the prior saves in that level. This tells me that the game can get bugged and/or saves corrupted if you quicksave too often. It was said that too much quick saving using the quicksave hack or even console command saving in Far Cry sometimes corrupted the AI trigger points in the game.

I suspect I may have made a quicksave too near an autosave or while an AI was spawning, etc. If you focus on saving while little to no action is going on like before/after a battle, it seems to help. Though to be honest, for the most part I save quite a lot. It just must have been a fluke that one time.
