Madman, were you by any chance circling a player in spectator mode? I think there is a bug in there that causes the crash.

I have the same problem except mine happens when Im in a game! normally about 5 mins into the game it just EXITS and comes up with this error message:

No Label OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600) CPU: GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 2526 MHz with 1023MB RAM Video: NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 (5656) General protection fault! History: FSortedIndexBuffer::GetContents <- FD3DDynamicIndexBuffer::AddIndices <- FD3DRenderInterface::SetDynamicIndexBuffer <- RenderStaticMesh_Type2 <- RenderStaticMesh <- FDynamicActor::Render <- FDynamicActor::Render <- RenderLevel <- FLevelSceneNode::Render <- FPlayerSceneNode::Render <- UGameEngine::Draw <- UWindowsViewport::Repaint <- UWindowsClient::Tick <- ClientTick <- UGameEngine::Tick <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop

My PC is far good enough to run this game, what could be wrong?

These are only the MINIMUM requirments. In my experiace you can`t play the SF maps with out at least 512mb of ram and 128mb of video memory. Otherwise you get lags from your machine trying to read a swap file I`ve had the same crash on several differant maps. I think they released the "upgrade" too soon
