To me it looks like you need a better cpu and vid card to play. Here are the minimum system requirements 3-D graphics card with 64 MB memory and support for hardware transformation and lighting 1.3 GHz processor or equivalent English version of Windows(r) 98/ME/2000/XP Operating System 256 MB RAM 1.62GB of uncompressed hard disk space for game files Windows 98/ME/2000/XP compatible system (including compatible 32-bit drivers for CD-ROM drive, video card, sound card, mouse and keyboard) DirectX(r)8.1 DirectX(r)8.1 or higher compatible sound card and drivers*

Please help!
Are all of u using XP? I think XP has a prob with games, some games can't be played at all until I switched back to good ol' 98...
Madman, were you by any chance circling a player in spectator mode? I think there is a bug in there that causes the crash.
I have the same problem except mine happens when Im in a game! normally about 5 mins into the game it just EXITS and comes up with this error message:
No Label OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600) CPU: GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 2526 MHz with 1023MB RAM Video: NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 (5656) General protection fault! My PC is far good enough to run this game, what could be wrong?
Ok, were you in the tower when this crash occured, facing out the window?

These are only the MINIMUM requirments. In my experiace you can`t play the SF maps with out at least 512mb of ram and 128mb of video memory. Otherwise you get lags from your machine trying to read a swap file I`ve had the same crash on several differant maps. I think they released the "upgrade" too soon
:moon: Its not the RAM I got 1.5 gig of Ram, I run XP Pro also and have a 128 G-Force video card which has been running 2.0 very well . . . and or without a hitch for about 3/4 year. I've never seen this error box "UNTIL" I downloaded 2.1 the new version, can someone reply I've switched back to 2.0 untill I can find a fix, "would like to move on to 2.1 the new version. Attached is a screenshot of the error message that boots me outta the game 10 to 15 minutes into play, it kicks me to desktop, with this popup Rgr. "Thanks" a.k.a "Double Homicide"
