I just saw this video with Clint Hocking, the creative director of FarCry 2 and the interviewer was this woman named Pyra from the FragDolls.
Why? I list the reasons.
1. Her tone and her body language indicates she knows nothing about the game. Thus, why should the viewer trust or even like her b/c FarCry 2 is NEARING COMPLETION. If you don't know about it, you're not a PC FPS gamer probably. Why don't they have someone informed on the topic interview the head guy of the company? That's like an insult, I think. You're not showing up prepared.
2. Why is a FragDoll even talking to him? Why mention that she's a member of the gaming clan.. what fucking significance does it hold? That is never mentioned. It's not like the FragDolls are demoing the game, she's merely there, it seems, to whore out the name and not provide any background or plug about her and the gaming clan. Why not just pick someone else to interview Mr. Hocking, or just let run with the mike and tell what it's all about. The fact that she's female doesn't matter, but the fact that she mentions the FragDolls and that she's a part of them would logically want someone to see the connection, though there isn't one.
3. Are female gaming clans professional or are they, as I'm now thinking, merely eye-candy for the male gamers out there? This woman, Pyra, was uninformed and smiling like she was high at the end of the video and gave him a limp handshake.
4. Lastly, I'm confused as a man, a young man, who the FragDolls most likely want to attract [like an Axe deodorant commerical, you know what I mean], that the woman they chose to in this instance represent the FragDolls is overweight and unenthusiastic about the product that let her do a very quick mention about the FragDolls. Honestly, doesn't your clan have some young, fit, sexy woman or girl, to represent the clan? Sex is clearly being used to draw in males to look at the FragDolls, so why use an overweight 30's woman?
I'm angry that a woman interviewed the creative director of FarCry 2 and she didn't know about the basics of the game and she was very poor representation of the FragDolls which is a pretentious name to start with. She had very little professionalism and he role and title were meaningless.
I was in a good mood before I saw this video.
I assume that there are professional and unsexy [not that Pyra was sexy, she looked like a mother of 3 or something, and her body language was not that of an excited gamer or someone enthustiastic about the game.] female gaming clans out there. Why do somethings have to insult so much, insulted by the lack of sexiness in the FragDolls with their spokesperson; the concept of a marketable product like the FragDolls is sexy thing, a sexual attraction, a device to lure males into the culture, to get them interested by the BASEST of desires, sex.
Isn't this upsetting to other people?
I would die without GF

I have two things to say. Number one: she looks like an absolute douche. Number two: you are working yourself up waay too much.
Nature's best screw up.

All Girl Gaming Clans overall suck. That is all.
Hey, i realised that the point of the Fragdolls wasn't about gaming, it was to become minor celebs and get a bit of cash, the money grabbing whores! But seriously, they're not whores, its just kinda stupid about the whole thing. OXM 360 Uk once did a feature about them when they had been together for a few months, and two of them had 0 gamerscore... Which says it all really.

Clint is such a nerd :p
Yeah the fact I don't see them advertised anywhere makes me think it's just another 'sex sells' gimmick. Yeah I was pretty worked up about it, but not any more.

Eh, that's just one clan. PMS Clan was at Quakecon accepting challengers, I played one of them in ET:QW, she kicked my ass. She was rocket whoring though.
Gotta save face.
