Definitely a new PC, it can do so much more than just play games. Besides, you can upgrade a quality comp when it needs to be. Something you can't say for a console.

Not to mention the most important element: Mods. They make every gale so much better.

PC, for sure. What can you do with a PS3? Play games, maybe listen to music and watch videos. What can you do with a PC? Well, a hell of a lot more than a PS3 can do.

Plus, with PC's you can get updates/patches, mods (a very important aspect in games, and you'll regret not being able to play them fi you get a PS3) and of course online play without having to spend a semi-fortune for PS3 internet.

PC, of course.

not to mention you can play virtually every PC game, which outweighs the PS 1 2 and 3 games

I would say PC due to its versatility and expandability. A console only offers protection if you worry about compatibility or want an assured stable frame rate. Since the majority says PC, I strongly recommend you wait for the next generation of Graphics Cards i.e. Geforce 9 Series, Radeon HD 3xxx series. As Crysis chews up even the best of today's GPU.

If I was you I would buy a pc, much better graphics as you say. You can change stuff and such (modding) Unless you have a giant widescreen with excellent HD quality I wouldn't buy a PS3. A computer can do much more and online gaming is easier Main reason: MOUSE ftw ;)
